quote:Reminds me, prolly the best BBQ chicken I've ever had was in Birmingham next to Legion Field, cooked by the folk who lived where we parked in a section 8 house's yard. I paid $20 to park & for food at the 1984 UGA-Bama game... Pulpwood Smith broke off 2 long runs & UGA won 24-14...

Sconyers Bar-B-Que, Augusta, GA
Prolly one of the Granddaddys' of BBQ in the state of Georgia & even once featured in People's Magazine as one of the top ten Bar-B-Que restaurants in the United Stares.... but don't put em' on the list because it's well known that the old South Side Mafia of Sconyers, Wife Saver, and the Discotheque Lounge avoid the spotlight and have more of a closed-door policy.

In Augusta, Sconyers is the place for real, old fashioned, oak and hickory, pit-cooked BAR-B-QUE. When your taste buds yearn for the honest taste of old- fashioned bar-b-que, Sconyers has to be your choice. Succulent, tender ribs; lean mouth watering tenderloin and flavorful hash ... all cooked to perfection from a secret family recipe. Beautiful surroundings, friendly atmosphere and courteous staff.

Looks like you got more editing to do!
Once we max out Georgia you should take it to the Auburn board and get Alabama loaded up. Then work outwards from there
Make it a Southeastern map.

We would probably end up with a map of every Sonny's location.

I was going to do an alabama one. But I like the different states by themselves. When you pull up the non editable map it list everything for that particular map. I'll update on Monday. A lot easier with a computer. Which I don't touch on the weekends or at night.

Edmunds Bar-B-Que is right around the corner & top shelf, IMHO... and supposedly they'll accept parlays during fb season (entertainment purposes only)

Have you tried Motts? If so what do you think? The BBQ and veggies don't have much flavor to me
I haven't tried Edmonds because I've been so disappointed up to this point with Augusta BBQ. I like Bobby's but that belongs on the Carolina board apparently. I've heard dukes in south Aiken is good but haven't been there either.

Seriously, what's it like to be so delusional? Please don't continue to flame the thread and the board. Seems like the majority of your post on the board, that you love so much, are flames. Even to your fellow georgia fans. The board you try to protect and supposedly love yet hate all at the same time, you continue to shite on. Must be a sad life to be an Internet troll. I bet you just sit there and giggle to yourself while you spew your constant diatribe.
First off, I wasn’t talking to you. Was clearly talking to Porter. Before that, Schooper.
Second off, Nice job smearing my character instead of addressing the content of my posts (to Porter and Schooper). Which you huff and puff and label as “troll” or “flame” or whatever the SECrant vocab “word of the day” is…….so that you can avoid having to address the crystal clear and uncomplicated points that I brought up.
You wanna try again?…………………This is a message board. People are allowed to have opinions here. I think.

Chris...have you ever had occasion to visit Carolina BarBQ in New Ellington SC? Its just south of Aiken and not too far from Augusta. Excellent dive with even better stew...has a secret ingredient that gives it a little "bite".
If not and your in the area...its worth a try...

By your posting, you would think otherwise. But tis your status quo.

I didn't avoid it, I classified them as your delusions.

Funny because you use these words all the time. But again, status quo for your hypocritical self
Again, you continue to shite in your bed. Must be the life. Now please move along. If you don't like the board, start your own forum.

You might want to rephrase that, seeing as how you're a guest here. You can slap fight with Jeffy all you want, but you don't come into another man's house, start a ruckus, and tell HIM to leave when he states he doesn't like what you're doing.
That's pisspoor form, sir. Pisspoor.
