Stafford 2.0

Eh, I'm not ready to compare him to Stafford just yet for a number of reasons.

Eason doesn't have Mike Bobo or Richt, who were both a big part of Stafford's development and eventually being drafted #1. I hate to say it, but Chaney isn't anywhere in the same league as those two as a QB coach.

I'm not there yet. He's Stafford 2.0

He's no Stafford. Stafford struggled his freshman year, but he also took a lot of risk and had a gunslinger mentality. He did struggle on the deep ball until halfway through his sophomore season.

Funny how we heard about the offensive line dominating the defense until G-Day, and then the OL gets whipped.

Yeah... this whole scrimmage is very puzzling. There's a lot of TALENT... but they all seem to be running in place. The D Talent>>>>>> Offense... The defense looks to be 2 years ahead...

Yea I really like what Kirby is building on D. Pretty nervous about the offense to be honest, despite plenty of talent.

Kid looks more like a punter than a RB, though.

Offense brought down Muschamp at Florida. I hope we're not headed down that same path. The line and Eason have to improve dramatically. Otherwise we're in for another disappointing season.

The ref cam needs to be stopped. Can't watch the game if I'm trying to figure out what I'm looking at.

I'm worrying that Chaney is Kirby's Weiss. Can't take too much out of a spring game but they still don't really seem on the same page.

Yeah, it's always hard to judge a scrimmage. However, the offense is still a big question mark at QB, OL, and OC.

I'm pretty sure Kirby's main reason for hiring Chaney was to bring Sam Pittman with him (for elite OL recruiting) and for his utilizing of TEs (which he hasn't done, other than one).

Unfortunately, the shitty playcalling and lack of proper QB coaching are some of the downsides to his hiring.
