It should never be changed, period.

However, I've gone on record many times saying that the ooooooooooooooooooooooooooonly way it should EVER be changed (and this obviously will never happen) is if some billionaire nutcase built a stadium directly stradding the state line so that our fans sat in Ga and theirs sat in fl. Like this

but that probably won't happen.

It should never leave Jacksonville. You either haven't been or haven't done it properly if you think otherwise.

Let's try a less emotional approach to this question:

Say the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise moves or goes under (which is not beyond the realm of possibility)....

Where would the WLOCP go after "everbank" field is leveled and turned into a series of parking garages?

Best way to spend the week of Halloween is to hop on down to Savannah on Wednesday, drive down to St. Simons Thursday afternoon, spen Thursday night and all of Friday on SSI and Jekyll, then drive down early Saturday AM to Jax

Best summary right here ^

If you've been you'd never want it to move

the game was played in jax for 60+ years before the jags even became a franchise. I think somehow some people smarter than myself would figure out a way to keep it there.

The game was there long before the Jaguars and the current stadium. They have the Gator Bowl (whatever they call it now) and they had a Super Bowl. They would not level the field if the Jags leave. They would look for other uses like they used to.

The stadium exists, for all intents and purposes, because of this game. Jacksonville isn't going to give it up just because the worthless Jags leave (sorry DGD).

They knocked the gator bowl down to build a bigger one for the jaguars.

What other uses are there for a stadium that size without an nfl franchise?

Answer: none

So where would the WLOCP go?

Little Rock has War Memorial Stadium which usually gets an Arkansas game or two a year. It gets used for plenty of other things. And its capacity is only about 10k less than Jax.

Other college games, concerts, festivals, the aforementioned Bowl game, special events. You seem pretty adamant for a emotion-removed response.

I've had my say on this topic. Carryon.

Concerts, bowl games, Jacksonville Armada, USMNT Friendlies and World Cup games, the WLOCP, Monster truck and motorcross events, etc.

So to answer your question, it's not going anywhere.

Legion field is still kicking and it's in the frickin ghetto. The cotton bowl is like 10K more than everbank I think and it hosts the RRS, bowl games, concerts, etc.

Orlando still has the Citrus Bowl. San Antonio has the Alamo Dome. They'd find something to use it for.

The cotton bowl is also slap dab in the middle of the east Dallas ghetto. Seems to be a common trend among NFL/neutral site stadiums

NFL franchises have left towns many times over the years and their former stadiums torn down afterwards to make different use of the space.......But, whatever.

The point of my question was clearly to brainstorm ideas for where to relocate TWLOCP if Jacksonville wasn't an option. The Jaguars leaving town being just a random example pulled off the top of my head to try and get away from the emotional attachment that people have for their annual jacksonville vacation.

Let me try another approach then........

Let's say aliens destroyed Jacksonville, where would TWLOCP go?

Donald Trump would remove the aliens but not before making them build and pay for a new stadium. And the game would stay.

You've either never been to the WLOCP or you're so old you've forgotten that it is the best weekend in the entire school year.

I Would love to see a home and home. Both stadiums are more worthy than jax.
