There was a whole article about it from (I think) the Colorado DOT, I think? The actual link is in the thread.

I love photography. It's a lot of fun. I mainly do it on vacations and for friends...nothing for money. (Some insist on giving me some money, but I turn around and buy them a folio and some pictures with it and give it to them.
I have been taking pictures for about 10 years. Started taking pictures of my son when he was wrestling in high school. Took them of all the kids and gave them the pics at the end of the year.
I was pretty lazy, though, and just over the past several years started shooting manually and in RAW format. They make a huge difference!

Video is very interesting, too. my wife would fill the wrestlers, and I would splice the video together with the pictures and make a video for their end of year banquet. You really have to be good to make good video. I would imagine you are much better than I am.

If you don't mind me asking...why do you concentrate on that aspect of it? just an area of interest? is this something you think you might eventually get into to make money?

It makes good money. Plus, I get to "try out" the "actors" to sort of "coach them up" if you know what I mean.

OoooOOOhhhh. That kind of reality!

You ought to consider doing weddings. You make make really good money if you are good. I have done a couple of weddings, and they both turned out really well. but, I am always terrified of messing a wedding up. I just don't need or want the pressure. If I needed the money, it would definitely be something I would consider.

Information released by governments tends to show that cannabis adversely affects drivers. Governments lie.

For decades Australia has blood tested all drivers involved in driving accidents that resulted in injury. The database of driver blood tests was a very large sample for study.

Adelaide University Professor Jack Maclean, director of the road accident research unit, said, while there was no doubt alcohol affected driving adversely, that was not the case with marijuana.

In the accident sample in which one of the drivers had a measurable amount of blood alcohol (not legal limit), the driver with blood alcohol was at fault in 80% of the accidents.

In the accident sample in which one of the driver's blood tested positive for cannabis, the driver with cannabis traces was at fault in 48% of the accidents.

Stoned drivers are paranoid drivers. They tend not to speed and they tend not to take risks. I speak from experience.

No doubt or argument. But the article I published seemed to go with statistics of wrecks involving fatalities. Not something they could easily lie about.

Someone else in this thread wondered if possibly it was the combination of alcohol and marijuana that made the difference. Seems logical since we know that medicines, when taken together affect the body in very different ways. (I think it was Crow, but I am not sure)

Thar doesn't seem to say that cannabis does not affect driving, so much as it has a lesser impact on driving. Do you agree, or am I misinterpreting?

I have heard that before, too. Surprises me, since i would think alcohol would do the same to people. However, i also realize that alcohol tends to lessen inhibitions.

See? A civil conversation can be had on this subject! (Not aimed at you)

In accidents resulting in injury between drivers with detectable cannabinoids and drivers whose blood tested clean, there was no statistically significant difference in who was at fault. The stoners caused 48% and those high on life caused 52% of the accidents.

Cannabis does affect driving as I said. Stoners are paranoid defensive drivers as every experienced stoner knows.

I would advise young teens to stay away from weed unless it is needed medically. In California, oncologists are giving massive doses of psychoactive THC to very young children including babies.

The American Cancer Society classifies THC as an anti-carcinogen because it has been proven in multiple peer-reviewed medical studies to kill aggressive cancer cells in petri dishes.

I first smoked weed as a UGA student in 1970. Right now I'm going outside to take a couple of hits. I'm 68 and I played a lot of recreational tennis. I can use weed twice a week and I can walk around a grocery store pain free every day. Without weed I must ride around the store.

But for real... I hold certifications from ONSSI and IPVM.

My employer dumped a bunch of surveillance in my lap so I insisted they pay for me to learn about it.

Still no bigfoot found, but I have identified orbs coming in and out of my manager's office .. legit orbs, not lens flare or dust.

I told him about it, he doesn't believe me, thinks I'm fricking with him. Maybe I'll try to hijack some footage from the VMS and post it here and let the Dawgrant decide.

Orbs coming out of an office? I have to admit, I am skeptical, too. Put it on here if you can and lets take a look!

A 4mm lens with an 8mm aperture gives what FOV?

Please answer in degrees and PPF at 30 ft (assuming 1080 res on a 1/2" digital imager)

BS question. Apertures are measured in f-stops, not mm's. And it wouldn't produce a FOV, it would be DOF.
