I'm sure he has RA or something and needs it for pain management.

We need to hire a Nick Sabah protege.... a guy who can put some discipline into these guys. Mike Ridge has lost control of this team.

I'd be more worried about papa Holyfield than the police

It happens everywhere, all the time. It's just that in Athens, they take these menaces off the streets and put them in jail... because of freedom and America.

Jesus Christ. Forget Tech or Florida. Jimmy Williamson is Georgia's biggest rival.

Athens is safer when athletic black kids in nice cars are pulled over and locked up for posessing small amounts of weed... think of what would happen if they were allowed to run amok... smoking their marijuana and listening to their rap music unimpeded. I for one am glad they are being targeted... I mean randomly pulled over... I mean stopped for a non operating blinker.

New punishment for getting caught with the devils lettuce is having to get in the ring with Evander for 3 rounds. When Eason gets busted for cocaine we'll make it 5 rounds.

The Ron White quote bears repeating

quote:

When I have 7/8 of a gram of marijuana, I consider myself to be out of marijuana. That is no weed.

Kirby's learning about the system that Mark Richt coached under.

1) Players get arrested for things that would get them a free ride home and a stern message from the coach elsewhere.

2) They miss real playing time.

3) They eventually get kicked off the team.

4) It happens frequently and it costs you games.

Fortunately for Kirby, he's not likely to be accused of "weak discipline", the way some tried to do with Richt, but the games lost will go under his name.

I disagree. The most fun things in college happen well after midnight.

I didn't say he shouldn't be responsible for his actions. If you've paid attention to UGA football more than 6 minutes, you'd know that the head of ACCPD has a hard-on for busting football players. There's a long, distinguished record of them going out of their way to catch members of the FB team doing something wrong.

Until and when/if weed becomes legal, you have to keep your nose clean. Jeopardizing your playing career and/or putting the team at a competitive disadvantage due to your stupid behavior isn't cool.

Do the Athens/CCPD get bonuses for arresting football players? If this had happened on any other campus in this SEC, you likely would have never even heard about it.
