Tennessee is showing a different type of attitude then I have seen Georgia play with in quite a while.

So, you are good with suffering through 8 years of being a dumpster fire as long as we can show a new attitude? You know they have lost 4 games this year and should have lost 5, right? but you want us to be like them?

Let's show a new attitude as long as we can be 3-5!!!

And if we beat Tennessee.....see how this works? They didn't win their game, and we didn't win ours.

heh, we don't need him to

our defense is actually pretty good, they just can't be left on the field all game or constantly defending short fields all day

skews the numbers a bit

That is up to the defense. It doesn't make a difference if we go 3 and out on every possession if the defense goes out and forces a 3 and out they will get off the field. Our defense did it against a horrible Mizzoo offense and weren't worn out.....but if we go 3 and out and then the defense goes out and lets the opponent get 3 or 4 first downs or worse then yes, they are going to get tired. It is their job to stop that....

They still haven’t beat a top 10 since 2006 (3,300+ days). Why are people handing out moral victories? Everyone realizes they almost beat Bama a few years ago when Mt. Cody blocked the FG and yet they are still trash.

Florida....errrrrr....

Just quit. Unlike the team mentioned above, they’ve had a lot of recent success, oh I don’t know 2 Natty’s. While they struggled for a few seasons, the decline wasn’t long term. We all knew it was a matter of time.

Was this a problem vs uf or mizzou?

UF from last year?

On Mizzou, we gave them 1st and goal from the 1 and held - yeah maybe they suck, but our D looks pretty good - seems like we had a hard time with this vs UT as well

i think we CAN beat Florida, GL just needs to step it up

Dude, quit being a child. Go use your Tennessee and 8 years arguement somewhere else. It beyond old, irrelevant, and just simply a bad argument. All of your posts here have proved absolutely nothing.

UGA doesnt care about being better because they are making money and putting asses in the seats. That is all they care about.

Sorry, not uf, but Ut from this year.

So that one time vs mizzou when the d was fresh? We held the ball a long time in that game.

Yep. This is the answer to the tired old screed that it's the job of the offense to keep the defense off the field.

What "competent coaches" are you referring to that averages the wins that Richt has? 15 seasons...one losing season....again I say he isn't prefect but he's a quality coach. Every team in the country wants the next Myer or Saban...how's that working out? You want a unicorn.

Put Eason on this team and we beat Tennessee and are a one loss team, just like Florida.

He hasn't played a down of college ball yet. He could come in and out-Ramsey Ramsey, who was also highly touted. Let's not ordain the guy the Messiah until we actually see him walk on water.

Ramsey was a raw talent in a bad system with maturity concerns. Eason is an exceptional talent in a nice system with unheralded maturity. Let's not be silly comparing the two.

You are right, no doubt. But Ramsey wasn't nearly as highly rated as Eason is. Ramsey played in a triple option offense, while Eason operates from the pocket. There are big difference. It is true, that nothing is settled about Eason yet.....but all signs point to him being at the very least an upgrade over Lambert.

It is true, though. I think Tennessee ran something like 80+ plays against us. Your defense will wear down under those conditions. And, part of that was due to a fumbled kickoff and we ran a fumble back 95 yards for a TD after a long drive by Tennessee.....thus giving the ball right back to Tennessee.

IN what way is it irrelevant? because you say so? They fired one fo their most successful coaches and have been wandering around in the wilderness ever since. how is that irrelevant???

I DO think they are on the right track, but you are defending their program while calling UGA a dumpster fire? Seriously?

You haven't been paying attention, then. We have hired one of the better DC's in the country, started plans for an IPF, and have been giving deserving coaches raises. I would say there is a new attitude in the Administration right now.....the very same Administration that had been accused of holding us back in the past.

You know we lost, right? They have the "scoreboard" response to that arguement this year so they are better than us.
