I'm aware they have a recent natty. People on here were pointing out UT as an example for why we should look more into ousting Richt. I simply pointed out why UT is a laughable example for such a proposal.
But yes...they do have a natty in the modern era and they fired the coach who won it lol.

Their defense isn't really lacking in talent or experience. Doesn't hurt that the head coach was a really good defensive coordinator.

We would be 3-4 had we played Tennessee's schedule this far. Richt has averaged 9 wins lately because of a weak eastern division, those days are about over. Tennessee has lost to a top 15 Florida team, top 10 bama team, top 15 Oklahoma team, and Arkansas. Arkansas needed overtime to beat Auburn at home today, so anybody better think twice if they think that is any easy win for us. We could easily lose three or four more.

They proved they deserved to win on the field. We proved we deserved to lose on the field. That's life. But that isn't really indicative over whose better overall. Two different things and at the end of the season, it all evens out.
