At some point maybe but right now I would say Bobo's situation is pretty analogous to Kirby Smart under Saban.

I think Bobo has an ego as all men do....... and realizes that 10 years as OC in the SEC is obscene....... and so he'll seek an opportunity for more responsibility and new challenges in the next year or two.

Maybe i'm watching different games than some of y'all but Bobo is still Bobo. In other words, he still sucks.

Bobo is not capable of making adjustments, either in game or across seasons. we run largely the same offense we have for the past 3 seasons... it only works because AM is doing a damn good job at QB and Marley is a special RB tandem.

There's still the retarded draws on 3rd and long, and as we saw most recently in the 2nd quarter of the TN, bobo lets off teh gas when we should be running up the score.

i hope someone snatches him away, so we can hopefully get a competent OC

It's true that the jury is still out but as I said if Bobo is able to maintain a balanced offense that averages 500+ yards and 40+ points a game for the remainder of the season I think some (lesser) schools would take a serious look at him. He can recruit well, develop QBs, and considering his unpopularity in Athens that gives him more incentive to take another job.

Perspective: Not sure if Bobo actually pays attention to what us idiots say

Really? You're not sure? Let me help you out then, he doesn't give a shite what you idiots say. I'm not going to lump myself into that group.

I said for years against the AM naysayers, give him an OL and a running game and you'll see and even better AM. OL and RB support has been missing since AM's first start.

Not sure if you're just a typical SECrant douchebag or if I worded my previous post poorly, so I will try again..............

I seriously doubt Bobo pays attention to his critics anymore at this point, but if he's able to maintain this weekend what he has produced so far this season, then even the most irrational of his critics are going to have a hard time justifying their knee-jerk hatred.

But since you brought it up, I totally disagree. I think ALL coaches "give a shite" about their image. The good ones are able to limit how much it affects themselves and their team........ but they all care to some extent.

As long as his future teams don't need to score in the 4th quarter, he's doing great.

Seems like there is a pattern there. When we get a lead, we usually sit on it/go conservative. And I can't remember the last time we came back and won a game in the 4th quarter?

Yeah I've never really understood this. It's hard to sit on a lead when your drives only last about 2 minutes. Puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

i mean i can't totally complain about him thus far (who am i kidding, yall know i can) but it wouldn't ruin my day if bobo was hired away similar to neil callaway.

we could go OC shopping and this time we can go to the bmw and porsche lots instead of hector's used car emporium!

Yes, you certainly are. If scoring over 40 a game with a dominant running game and Murray 3rd in the nation in passing efficiency doesn't do it for you you will never be convinced. I always wonder if he didn't have such a goofy name if he would get more respect.

My problem with bobo, is not his play calling the hole game. It is the play calling, when the game is on the line. He has a brain fart two or three times a game.

Bobo hasn't done a GD thing yet. He was up to his old tricks once that game got close on Saturday. That man is incapable of playing with a lead. Let's put up 40 against Carolina and Florida and then we'll talk.

Meh. The vindication might be nice but I'd rather have a competent coach. Literally everyone with a brain knew or should have known that Blowbo couldn't and wouldn't get it up against the Cocks. We will never win big games with Richt and Blowbo.

Good bump.

Missouri game sort of fits. The 4th was our only dominant quarter.
