Roddy showing up vs the Bills and snagging 10 catches for 143 didn't help either

Barr is overated as hell. He has one move and if it doesn't work or gets shutdown he disappears. I watched 2 games this season against competent opponets and he was a complete mystery in both games. Heck of an athlete but incredibly raw. If the Falcons don't get Clowney or Matthews they should trade out. I also like Khalil Mack over Barr. The value drops after that considerably for what the Falcons need. It would be awesome to trade back and pick up Hageman the DT from Minnesota.

So who should we pick. So far in this thread I've learned every player in our range is garbage.

I never said he was garbage I just stated he would be a reach and a bad fit. The problem at 6 is all of the guys we need are off the board and all of the ones there at that range aren't fits for the team. We could reach for one of the 2nd tier OL like Kwan or the AU LT (bad with names) or Erving but all of them could be had outside of the top 10. We have heavy needs on the OL but we shouldn't reach for guys at 6. We could possibly land a trade back into the back half of the first round and fill 3 needs instead of 2 and get a DT, Guard, and an OT. I know he probably won't trade out and we will make a silly pick like 2 CB's in the first 2 rounds so I won't get my hopes up. :(

Love the speculation, but rest assured that TD will gag it up, maybe the ex-Chief/Pat dude will save us. Lord knows TD needs some serious help.

I love Julio Jones and I really like Marcus Trufant and Robert Alford but these 2 drafts alone put us in the mess we are in. Ignoring the OL and missing with guys like Sam Baker has killed the offensive and defensive line. It can be fixed but I remain optimistic. Marcus Trufant is really good but we had so many needs last draft that looking back it just feels yucky and we traded up as well. :/ . One can only hope it goes good this year because if not.....WE fricked

Sammy Watkins is a certified beast but the Falcons have star receivers. . I lack faith as well but if they draft a receiver I would be .

Roddy White is on the way out and Douglas is ... mediocre.

Any of those receivers are more of a sure thing than any offensive lineman you could take this year.

Your short sightedness in the draft mirrors your short sightedness in politics.

Social Security is a ponzi scheme, and Roddy White is on his way out. Gonzo already gone. Who the hell is Ryan going to throw to in the next 2-3-4 years?

I never argued that it wasn't a ponzi scheme (but as the buzz word suggest) It's a lot more complicated than that. Just throwing a label on it doesn't make it 100pct factual. The only thing I stated was no one knows when the money will run out and I am 100pct correct on that. If you would like to go re read feel free. Now back on topic.

Roddy White will probably stay. He was hurt all season and played well at the end of the season. We have Douglas who is a decent slot guy. All of those receivers are good...but have you watched any games this season? What do you suggest we just roll out more play makers when you can't give the QB more than .5 seconds? And I am the one that is shortsighted? Think before you type please.

If they waste their first pick on a lineman that isn't named Clowney, I'm done with those a-holes forever.

Time to start calling you out. The Falcons gave up 9 sacks in their last game. The falcons should absoultey be looking to upgrade the line and if we take a lineman then that is a 100pct a step in the right direction. Larry Holmes is garbage. Sam Baker is garbage. The guard play was downright atrocious and don't even get me started on the center.

And you think the fix is Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans or Jordan Mathews......Puhlease. Get the fk out of here with this nonsense.

missing with guys like Sam Baker

You keep bring up Baker but in 2012 he actually had a very good year. He's just been very injury prone throughout his career. The bigger mistakes by TD have
been Konz (2nd round) Holmes (3rd round) BOTH these
guys simply don't have the talent to play in the league and I don't see either eventually having an upside.
Konz is especially lacking in upper body strength, footwork and quickness...have no idea how the guy was all big 10 at Wisconson...a school that has a pretty good track record with o-lineman in the NFL.

prettyboy,

I explained my reasoning on page one. I'm not going to repeat it for you.

Furthermore, I suspect you've been drinking. You made similar ignorant posts in the last half hour on the SECrant.

Why would a grown man be drunk on a Wednesday night?

Did you get laid off from your job?

Your reasoning is shite.

Let's ignore the OL and DL and draft a reciever. Real sound non shortsighted drafting genius. That's the kind of garbage that put the team in the mess they were in this season.

Your ego is beyond enormous.

Also, after calling me out on politics I am guessing you realized you were talking out of your arse after realizing I never said a damn thing about ponzi schemes. You might want to lay off the pipe jackass.

There are other people in this thread that agree with me. Why aren't you saying mean things to them?

You called me out. You can agree or you can not agree it makes no difference to me.

However, you took the time to say something that was completely and 100 percent false in calling me out. If you are going to tell lies then you should be able to own it.
