They're going to be loaded if they keep nailing their draft picks. They've been a very good drafting team for a few years now.

Not a Jags fan but I like what they got going on over there. Ramsey may be the best player in the draft.

And that Maryland kid looks like a winner. I'm loving what Caldwell is doing. Not sure if Gus is the real deal but Caldwell certainly is.

Their coach and Carroll were the guys behind the Seattle D. Quinn just inherited it and rode the wins and the rep to the Coons head coaching job.

Good for him, but the current draft looks like it could go bad or good. Certainly nothing to have a parade over. Last year's draft is marginal at best.

Quinn's tenure may be short lived as he has tied himself to Dimitroff and the idiot OC.

Hate to have to tell you this, but being a UGA fan has literally frick all to do with being a Falcon fan. Pretty much all of south Georgia is more likely to pull for a Florida NFL team (Jags, Bucs, Phins) than the Falcons.

Ultimately, I have adopted the Falcons since I've lived in ATL for more than 10 years at this point, but we routinely had tickets to Jags games growing up in south GA and would still say I casually follow them.

While this is titled the "Georgia Sports Board", if you take a look at the nifty little column over on the left, it does specifically say "Team Forums" - ie. the "University of Georgia".

Sadly (at least according to ESPN's list here), neither of the teams had a player from UGA going into the UDFAs today... Falcons front office DGAF about UGA. If we're really concerned about UGA players, apparently we should be Cincinnati Bengals fans as it looks like they had the most (5) with Kansas City in second (4).

Put it this way. When I travel back home, I see 3x Jags decals/stickers/plates compared to *any* other NFL team. Same thing every time I drive down through Valdosta. I can't speak for every city or every person, but anecdotally, it hasn't been close in my experience. Couple that with a rather strong "anti-Atlanta" sentiment that I've come across with relative frequency when spending time in the lower regions of our state and you have my personal opinion.

Also of note... "more likely" simply implies that there is a greater percentage, not that there are no Falcons fans in south Georgia. Given that I provided 3 teams to 1, one of which is located closer to the bottom quarter of our state (what I would refer to as "South GA") than Atlanta in many cases I'm not sure why this is "complete bullshite".

I see a mix of everything here. I'm sure Hunter and Stewart have something to do with that.

South GA better be on their collective knees and thankful for Atlanta. Otherwise there would be no South GA worth a shite. And it ain't that much now.

..Said cancer to the healthy body. As if the crops would suddenly stop growing if sodomites in ATL stopped marrying each other and Starbucks stopped serving lattes. Eat shite in traffic commie scum.

I find it laughable how some folks from South GA like to find fault with Atlanta. It's like a child calling it's mother a whore for having the sex that created the child. Yet they don't have any hesitation to come to Atlanta to shop, or to a show or concert,or museum, or to see a ball game, or to eat at a decent restaurant, etc, etc, etc. And when they do they always brag to their friends that they came. I've lived and worked in both places as have a lot of my HS classmates. Lots of 'em come here. Ain't many going down there.

The state of Georgia would be a lot like Mississippi without Atlanta. I know you have some kind of beef with the city for some reason. Maybe your wife left you and ran off to Atlanta. But at least 5.7 million people, and growing, disagree with you.

So you eat the shite, Jethro.
