With Ledbetter back it looks like the D Line will be full strength finally. They should have a field day against the pitiful Vandy offense and then an off week to get really healthy and scheme for the Lizards.
Hopefully Eason can have a good game Saturday and build confidence for the UF game.

Careful.

Vandy upsets somebody every year. They played Florida close. And they haven't upset anyone yet.

And speaking of pitiful offense, Mizzou and Nicholl's St comes to mind.

And how many turnovers did Tennessee give us?

Do not take Vandy lightly.

Never again.

Vandy has a solid defense as usual under Mason but their offense is really bad. I think we will control the ball and wear their defense down in the 2nd half and should win by 2 TDs.
I thought last year Vandy would be good this year if they got a good RB and some decent WRs. They didn't get either and their QB this year is worse than the one last year.

Ralph Webb is a very good running back. They just don't have the line to help anyone out.

We have had worse Vandy teams beat better UGA teams...

We've been rotating 8 or 9 guys in and out all year because I don't believe the staff has been consistently happy with anyone outside of Trenton Thompson. Hopefully getting Ledbetter shortens the rotation because he can consistently do his job on the field.

Considering they've only beaten us 16 times in 72 years, I doubt that has happened too many times. Only once that I recall in the last 20 years, and the refs gave them that win.

I expect us to roll on vandy.

I really believe that we are a tough home team. Our running game will work. Eason will work. Our run defense will work. We pull away big in the 4th quarter. I will say a 20+ point win on who is considered a solid defensive team.

It's hard to say whether Vandy is a good defensive team or not. Probably the best offense they've faced is Georgia Tech, which gained over 500 yards. The rest of their opponents were a motley crew of bad SEC offenses and mid-majors, although they did manage to give up 495 yards to both Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky.

Having said that, I'm not ready to say that Georgia's a tough home team, or that Eason will have a good game against Vandy. We lost to Tennessee, and nearly lost to Nicholls State at home. As for Eason, right now it's hard to tell who's more over their head, him or Kirby Smart. Probably our biggest advantage this weekend is that so far Vandy's passing offense is worse than ours and they may not be able to totally abuse our horrible pass defense.
