Far be it from me to bring logic and reason to this board. You guys enjoy your cop bashing. I hope it makes you feel better.

I'd still like my OP answered. Why can 40K Cops attend a funeral but cannot speak out against police abuse?

The Army is preparing a Courts Martial against Obama's hero Bo Bergdahl. Why can't one, just one Cop say we fricked up?

Here is an easy one with video. Cops killed this dude for camping.

Again another baiting question to try to stir up anger. The thing is that it doesn't bother me. You obviously have a negative view of police. We all know there are police that abuse there power, which includes traffic violations. They are not allowed, they are not made to. They choose to do it. What about the police officer who saves someones life? Or the officer who pays for a homeless man a meal? Are those cops scum too? You can't deny that there are good cops. Come on man...be reasonable.

Again, you act like nothing is being done about it. There is an investigation going on with the DA's office in this case. You had already made a judgement about the officers guilt and you don't know all the evidence. If the investigation shows that the officer intentionally shot the man and left him there to die than they absolutely should be punished accordingly. I don't know what your asking from me. Did they frick up? It certainly looks that way. Do I know for sure? No. And just like when I decide if someone is going to jail in my line of work I have to remain objective until I know the facts. Lump all these shootings in the same conspiracy if you want but they are all different. Different people, different times, different situations. You except the police to be fair and impartial in their judgement but you show very clearly by your blanket statements that you do not show the same courtesy to them. Do I disapprove of police abuse? Yes, it makes me look bad. But you act like if im not out protesting than I must be for it.

Now you are just doing what so many people get disgusted with cops about. It's the whole blue shield thing. Instead of saying that you were disgusted with how that camper was basically murdered by a band of Gov. sanctioned psychopaths, which is plain as day to see, you go to great efforts to defend the system. The reason he "acts like nothing is being done about it" is because the Police Chief made a full of crap statement on the incident and claimed it was the correct approach by the LEOs involved. These types of over use of force are happening far to frequently. The David Hooks case in Lauren's County. The elderly woman gunned down in her home a few years ago. The child who had half his face blown off in his crib last year. This camper. The list goes on and on.

We get there are good cops. Hell, there are awesome cops. Most of them are but why can't LEOs like yourself just show the same outrage or disgust against those idiots who are hurting your professions reputation? How can you watch that video and not have your blood pressure rise and your adrenaline rise in anger? If more good cops would express the same concern and disgust instead of trying to rationalize the behavior of these few detriments (or dangers) to a civil society it would go a long way in bridging the ever growing gap between rational citizens and LE agencies/personnel. It just seems like y'all always go to great lengths to not criticize criminal behavior of those in your profession. Just call it what is is.

The failure of the police to hold each other accountable makes the whole lot thugs.

There are no cop heroes.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume you hate the military too. You seem to have an ax to grind against people who risk their lives on a daily basis so that you can tell them how much you hate them.

I agree there are both good and bad cops, but...

I'd be willing to bet we have many more good cops than bad.

I'd bet the opposite in a landslide. Most cops are psychotic, power-mad, self appointed Gods with a badge.

There are precious, PRECIOUS few who are actually worth the air they are allowed to breathe. The rest are worthless pigs.

That's the problem with assuming in the face of open and available evidence on display for the entire board to peruse.

I'm pretty sure she will not be able to "remember".

Either way, cause the shooter is her husband she can't be compelled to testify.

"Compelled" being the key word there. Even if this were an accident, forrealz and shite, this man should never carry a firearm again, in the capacity as a "hero that protects us."

But you'll have cops defending his "right" to be a pig, and this is how they get wings.

Above reproach. This should be their goal, and ALWAYS BE CLOSING in on that goal...
