Boosters came up with a plan to get 2 million for grantham to leave and another million for a new DC. Grantham is gone, but probably not till the seasons over

I hope that's true. As much as I want him gone, there is no point in firing him before the season is over.

Last night, they didn't have their normal coaches
meeting b/c of the off week. It was this morning. Went really bad.
Some D players parents that are very well respected have lobbed in
comments to CMR. CTG showed his arse again. CMR
met with 3 D players to discuss the mentality of the D and thoughts on
CTG. The feedback was poor.
Now for the confusing part……there were very strong
rumors that CTG was fired. That hit multiple online sites as well, but
then shortly the posts were deleted. A text went to CTG to confirm if
he had been dismissed and he replied "news
to me."
It seems that something has happened, but not sure if it is immediate or end of season.
Booster's had a call on Sunday
night and left with the plan of informing the AD Board that we need
nearly $2m at the end of the season to buy out CTG and pay the new DC
$1m."

Pretty darned close, sounds like. Coming on the heels of a loss to the last HC Grantham nearly got into a fight with might have been just enough for him to blow a gasket.

I'm curious to know if Richt really went to the players for feedback. If that's true I'd love to know what was said.
I'd imagine its would go along the lines of all he does is scream at us.....oh and the defensive playbook is about as easy to translate as Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
