I'm sure I'm not the only one who has heard that CTG is a little over the top in his treatment of the players. I bet he lost it after the game.

At no point during the last two seasons has CTG acknowledged even the most remote of possibilities that he hasn't held up his end of the bargain, when it comes to our defensive woes. I can totally see him going off on the kids.

I could not care less if he was yelling at screaming at kids. If he's getting fired (which I'm fine with) then it should be for his on the field performance and not how he yells at kids.

You never know, if he said some serious shite, Richt would can him I bet. But with his on field performances failing too, I don't see how this is really that shocking

Gentry Estes at 247 is reporting that multiple inside sources are saying this is all smoke & no fire.

Are we Kansas? Do we fire coaches for yelling at players? This stuff happens everywhere. We'll have a harder time attracting coaches if they feel like they'll get fired for something like this.

I think keeping it on the DL is the next step in order to keep some composure for recruits and team moral for the rest of the season. Either way Richt wouldn't want a mid season staff change, so it will play out as it should.

You're not getting what I'm saying. Racial, derogatory, or slanderous remarks will get you fired. Not saying that's what happened, but thats a scenario where losing your cool and screaming can get you canned

BVG used to constantly rip new assholes when his guys screwed up. However there is a difference in how BVG did it vs. CTG.
BVG had respect, where as I don't think CTG is doing enough to earn the player's respect.

I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of family members of one of the current players. I went to HS with them. (The family members, not the player).

Changes in the D have been suggested to Grantham both in simplifying scheme for young D and personnel placement & nothing has been done...(see below)
1) CMR stated in interview three games ago that we needed more rotation at inside LB and we would see it. We've seen no change.
2) CMR called out Swann a little bit, but stated he was more comfortable in star position after Missouri game. In same interview he said JHC was really coming down hill and making plays from Safety position and looked good there.
3) CMR stated in interview yesterday that Swann played much better in Star position yesterday after JHC went down and was more comfortable there.
You can see that just the tip of the iceberg in public interviews by CMR. Grantham doesn't like being told what to do.

If any of this is true CTG would be crazy not to have his agent feeling out his options for next year and GMcG would be crazy to not do the same.
