You serious Clark?

According to this link, not a single WR in the 2014 combine broke 40.

LINK

Also, no WR in 2014 broke 130in in the broad jump. Conley did 139?

He was on the Round Table last week and Dowdle was trying to get some stats out of him in regard to 40 time, etc...

Chris was giggly and wouldn't say. His giggliness was odd... in his mind he was thinking "Soon...."

I guess people have forgotten about this play. If the link doesn't go to the correct time, it's at 2:21:45 into the video.

Conley doesn't have the quickest first step, but when he gets moving he can stroll.

This play can never be forgotten either, vs Tenn, the one handed catch.

ETA another great catch, sure it's against Chas So but a great catch is a great catch.

It's kind of sad that Chris played his senior year in a passing game mostly limited to screen plays and slants.

He's going to interview like this...

As a junior he was already a leader and a teacher...

Yeah so sad he got to play on a 10-win team in the SEC.

And in two SEC Championship games.

And major/graduate from one of the most prestigious journalism/mass com schools in the world with a degree he will eventually actually put to use and probably triple whatever he makes in the NFL by the time he retires in 40 years.

Haha fair, still though. Your point is still valid, what Conley is doing is ridiculous

Well, I didn't say it was a tragedy of the highest order, just kind of sad. It was meant to be a relative statement about how he might have helped our offense under other circumstances, not dismiss everything good that has ever happened to Conley.

The biggest problem Conley had this season was not being healthy. Yes the offense didn't help him, but when you have very limited shoulder movement and every hit hurts, it's very difficult to play.

So glad to see him doing well at the combine. I always want UGA players to succeed but he is one in particular that I really want to see do well. The media focuses all the time on players getting in trouble but I don't think it's possible to represent UGA better than Conley has. He is as much of a DGD as one can be.

My thoughts exactly. He's a DGD and hope he gets a high draft pick and a long, productive career in the NFL before becoming the next George Lucas.

Sometimes these analysts are just lazy, other times they have an agenda where facts are not the top priority. Conley ran about a 10.8 100 meter in HS, which I guess if you're talking elite track runners is not considered "blazing". But for football wide receivers of Conley's size, even a conservative analysis of his speed should have been "very good".

Conley is so impressive not only mentally but physically. This could vault him into 2nd round discussions.
