Can We Let Richt go?

When mark Richt was at UGA, he put together arguably the best coaching job in the history of UGA. I said arguably. I know he didn't win a Natty as Dooley did, but he accomplished an awful lot. He brought us to another level but just couldn't seem to get over the top. UGA moved on. Some of us hated the move and some of us cheered the move.

When he left, he showed class. He didn't take shots at the administration or other coaches. Richt went to our biggest recruit and told him he committed to the school and not to him.

Now that he is gone, it is time to "let him go." I am so sick and tired of people still taking shots at him on the board. Richt showed class. We, as UGA fans are showing anything but class....or at least some of us are. PLEASE! Stop the Richt threads. Stop jumping into threads and blaming the past coaching staff....Mark Richt....Jeremy Pruitt....everybody else.

Show some class. Let's concentrate on the future and let Mark Richt go. Instead of denigrating him and blaming him at every turn let's try to say something good, if you HAVE to say anything at all about him.
Some of you got what you wanted.....now move on.

I, for one liked Richt. I respected him and the job he did. But I am excited about the prospects we have for the future. I am excited about what Smart brings to the table. I am behind the new coaching staff.

Now it's time to let Richt go with the dignity that he earned and deserves. STOP THE RICHT BASHING. You sound like a bunch of spoiled rotten little children.


Some of you....certainly not all. And I realize it is a relative few.
