I agree with your sentiments about Richt, but this post is counter-intuitive.

I am thinking you are correct about being counter intuitive.

It wasn't meant to be as long, but the more I thought about it the madder I got and the longer the post got!

I hear what you're saying but when you get stuff like what came out with Ekeler today...which is straight from a coach in the room...it's not bashing to note how totally fricked up the environment there had become and Richt was the man in charge.

FINALLY! Thanks for posting something of substance in this thread!

You are correct. And I have no problem with legitimate criticism. I guess it is stuff like starting a thread insinuating Richt did not care about Special teams. Then just cursing Richt in other threads. Hey, let's move on. The Ekeler thread was interesting and Richt COULD deserve some of the blame. It's hard to know exactly. But to the man on this board we were happy he hired Pruitt. Well, Pruitt helped our defense but, apparently, caused dissension. Was that Richt's fault? he was in charge, but you have no way of knowing until the move is made. Shoot...most on here was totally unaware of problems until midway through the season.

Anyway...if you notice...the ones that keep bringing Richt up in threads are the people who wanted him fired. Ok. he's fired. They got what they wanted. Move on. It does nothing constructive to continue to denigrate him.

Crap. Another book.

Is there not a "do not read" button on your screen? If not maybe one of the mods can log a support call for you. Otherwise, Herr Fuhrer, I believe this is an open forum in the freakin' US of A. And we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America!

Unfortunately there are way too many on here that just can't let him go. Or, at the very least, they have to kick him one last time while he goes out the door.

People with low self esteem have to attack and denigrate others in a failed attempt to build themselves up.
