All that to say I’m
Not going to plug my phone in to their app on my way home, when it’s an inconvenience to me.

Why listen to local radio?
It feels like NFL talk every day of the year.

There are dozens and dozens of great UGA podcasts that only talk UGA. And then you can dive into conference or college football podcasts as well.

I have options now. And I can get 247 college football. I don't need any of their other BS.

can't pickup 93.7 or 680 in Cherokee County either. 92.9 comes in fine, but I've been working from home since 2020 so I don't partake in sports radio anymore.

This right here! I used to get so mad, to turn on the radio Monday morning after a big weekend of college football/Dawgs win but all I would hear is everyone crying and moaning about another Falcons lose! It would make me so made I'd wish the Falcons would move to another city, but with all these UGA/CFB centric channels online I don't have to fool with sports radio anymore.

I moved from metro Atl a number of years ago(I do not miss the traffic). Thank goodness there is plenty of UGA and college football talk on the internet and Sirius.

I do not miss the Falcons at all. I still get to watch the Braves on Bally sports. I watched part of a Falcon game a few weeks back and did not recognize but about two names on the roster. I guess they are doing their 25th rebuild. I could not begin to name all of the coaches they have had over the years, since I first moved to Metro Atl.

Did you move out of the state? We're thinking about getting the heck out of here in a few years. Trying to figure out at good place to relocate.

Shouldn’t have to have the app to listen to your shitty arse shows. That’s why you’re getting your arse whipped by 92.9 the game. Copy that and send it to your boss.

Deeprig, remember when we were at that sports bar in ATL for some Braves thing and we did blow in the bathroom and the dude with a raspy voice ended up being one of those 680 guys and once he figured out were doing blow, he would follow us to the bathroom for a few free bumps and then he started telling us how his boss pays dudes to bang his wife while he watches? Sounds like a lot of drama in radio.

Um, you do know that 92.9 has an app also, right?

In fact, most stations have apps to stream now. Welcome to 2023, baw.

You can stream online live without the app, you only need the app to listen to replays. I have streamed countless brave games from their site live without the app.
