If it's one thing I'm confident about with Pruitt, it's secondary coaching.

I'm withholding judgement on his overall competency on being a DC.

But that's another topic altogether.

He's no Todd Grantham, thats for sure.

Grantham wasn't given tempered expectations, even though we lost 8 starters on defense. Freshmen did freshmen shite, and it cost us on some big plays.

It's OK for Pruitt to have some young guys make some young mistakes, but not Grantham.

No shite, I posted my last post before I read this gem. This guy....I swear.

That was his second real college game ever and Spurrier had a chip on his shoulder because Langley flipped from them

I assure you that college coaches don't point out players on the other team that didn't come to their school and game plan around them.

They picked on Langley because he was a true freshman and was basically lost. It had absolutely nothing to do with him not picking SC

Matthews (possibly... there's lots of smoke on the internet),

Explain? That would be absolutely devastating.

Not really disappointed he is gone. I trust Pruitt and I think it's clear Pruitt didn't like him. TO me he is not the type of player that accepts being a backup either.
