Ramsey will have plenty of time to get ready. Mason should play and will play, this is richt, the most qb loyal coach ive ever seen. Besides, mason has earned this.

I don't buy the Richt as the loyal QB coach thing honestly. Some people say that Ramsey wasn't playing this year because of Richt's loyalty. Yet the loyalty argument was really thrown into the forefront when Mason wasn't starting ahead of Murray after the ____ loss (insert multitude of losses where we gave up 30+).

People are ignoring that if anything, this year proves that Richt did play the QB that gave the team the best chance to win, unless you really think Mason was a better option than Murray (no offense to Mason, but he wasn't).

In a nutshell: Richt was too loyal because he wouldn't start Mason over Murray but now that we know Mason wasn't better than Murray (not even close honestly), Richt is still too loyal because he won't start a RS freshman over Mason. Maybe, just maybe, the coaches actually know more about coaching QBs than us?

Thankfully you're not a coach.

There were many times in richts tenure that the smart thing would be to pull your starter and let someone whos not throwing to the dbacks play. Not saying that he shouldve made permanant changes, only that on occasion he was too loyal to pull the trigger.

I guess I just look at it as keeping with the starter even if they're having one bad game. An example is Bama sticking with Sims the other night when he had an awful first half.

I do understand where a change of pace may be a benefit at times too though. I just don't think any of our backups would've added anything that Murray couldn't.

Me too. I'd also take Gurley over Murray.

You need to go get checked out. Seriously. Call Charter-Peachford or somebody who cares.
