Nothing genius about this offense. Just need a good RB and a quick QB who can throw the ball well enough to keep the read-option going.

The offense is simple, but what makes it so effective is proper execution. i.e. attention to details

So Auburn is destroying the so-called #1 team in the country, along with the Heisman winner.

UGA was one freak play away from beating Auburn at Auburn.

Therefore, UGA is a national championship caliber team.

How did we lose 5 games?

Sure, any offense needs to be executed properly in order to function, but the option QB allows an offense to be more versatile without needing to be one-dimensional.

Passing game getting defended? Run it. Running back being targeted? Run it with the QB. QB being targeted? Hand it off to the RB.

Lots of options and you don't even need a QB who is an elite runner or passer, though, he's got to be good at one or the other (preferably both).
