also...FWIW, I saw mention of ND @ Clemson being announced as 8pm on October 3rd. I didn't see a network, but sounds like the ABC slot to me. Pretty sure NBC only does home games for ND.

I hear a lot of people saying this so there must be something to it, but why do you hate CBS?
I feel like their coverage is good. They do go over the top praising whoever is the hot story at the moment, but it's not a bias against UGA.

Gary and Verne (Verne especially) get on my nerves. I can't tell you how many times our players' names are not said correctly by those two and the play-by-play is stale, IMO.

Almost every time Danielson does one of our games, he spends the majority of the game talking about bama and saban.

Yea, I've never minded him but have multiple friends who don't like him.
Sure, they get names wrong a good bit, but I just like, for lack of a better word, the "tone" of the CBS broadcasts.
I'm not expressing it well, but it just "feels right" in some weird way.

Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. It really depends on where we stand at the moment. Everyone got incredibly sick and tired of CBS heaping praise on Pollack and Greene when they were kicking arse a few years ago.
CBS, or any network for that matter, wants stories that sell. They aren't truly biased for or against programs per se.

Just a personal preference. I don't care for those two but a game is a game. At least it's televised so I can see it out here in Colorado.

I like Verne. I have just noticed how many times danielson brings up bama and saban, in our games. It's ridiculous to constantly talk about another coach and team during a game they are not even in. I was surprised when he didn't do it as much in the game earlier this year.

Same here. Theres just something about an SEC game called by those two. It feels like SEC football to me.
And that intro is my favorite in all of football.

I actually like Gary and Verne. Despite their blunders, the coverage is great and they are pretty fair most of the time. Danielson is a pretty top notch commentator as far as knowing the game and breaking down plays as they happen IMO.

I like that about him too. I could live without Verne's "WOW" every forty third second. He probably even says it during commercial breaks.
