UT is the only team we should have beaten based on our current teams.

UF was beatable, but that fumbled punt killed us, and then their QB hit a perfect bomb downfield, and then the tipped INT that could have been a UGA TD pass happened.

Ya... Two dropped TDs and gifting a TD and the the 9 route slip... A lot went wrong. They are equal on defense and better on offense though.

Florida game last year was the latest example.

Name a team and I can name a game they lost that they shuldn't have. Ohio State, Alabama....ALL teams lose games they shouldn't.

However, I understand that we do seem to do it more often. I also understand the frustration seeping in. But, hundreds of threads talking about it?

Our fans melt over losses that we fully expect to lose.....and after every single one of those they come out of the woodwork calling for the coaches head. Nobody seems to understand that reactive fan bases chase away great coaches, it does not draw them to a program. NOBODY wants to go to a pressure cooker. Florida ran Urban meyer away....one of the best coaches in the country, if not the best. And Florida has more to draw a coach than Georgia.

How many quality wins does Florida have? LSU? nope, they lost that one. Ole Miss? Seriously? Please. let me answer it for you.

None. Florida does not have any quality wins, either. Just took a quick look at the Florida board and you know what I didn't see? people complaining about not having any quality wins.

Thank you for your opinion of me as a poster. Your opinion means so much to me.

Holy shite dude.

I gotta give you credit, man. You have enough passion and desire to push the Mark Richt is awesome narrative that you completely manipulate reality. That or you have no idea what you are talking about. I choose to go with you are crazy because passion is always a better look than stupid and dammit do I respect it.

Are you trying to imply that Bama isnt that good?

Absolutely not. I am trying to show you that you guys are using a certain yardstick to prove UGA is not good, and if you use that same yardstick on Alabama it shows they are not good.

You can't use a criteria on Georgia and not use the same criteria on every other team. You guys are correct. We haven't beaten any really good teams. But neither has Florida and neither has Alabama.

LSU has beaten a Florida team, but we won't know how good they really are until they play Florida State and play in the SECCG.

Stop already. Name 1 good team we have or will have beaten if we win out

I am not arguing that point. Don't change my arguemnt. I am arguing that very few team beat other excellent teams. How many good teams has Alabama beaten? How about Florida? Those are probably the two teams that will paly in the SECCG. Alabama got beat by an average Mississippi team....they DID beat LSU, but it's hard to tell how good they are.

I am NOT arguing that UGA is good....I am just saying that if you are going to judge Georgia on certain criteria, then use that same criteria to judge other teams.

Just gonna chime in with my two cents:

1) I truly think its possible we lose to both AU and GT...so lets see how this pans out before you guys start saying we are gonna win 10 games. AU, believe it or not, actually looked good against A&M as we continued to look mediocre. Lets see what happens on Saturday before we dictate the narrative.

2) If this administration lets Pruitt walk while keeping Richt and Schotty then I cannot see there not being an unholy uproar within the fanbase and boosters. Lose the best thing about this program right now and all the recruits and coaches and keep the shite? I think its safe to say if this happens, then hoping for a NT as a Bulldog fan is hopeless.

3) I honestly don't know how to feel, like most of you. I want GA to win, I always do, but if winning this year against AU and GT means the doomsday scenario mentioned in this thread then I am torn for sure.

Sounds right but I'm not ruling out a loss or two. We have no offense. The wild-dog will not surprise anyone else this year so...

So I guess you made a fortune off betting on Auburn game last?I mean it was only a 2 point spread and you ABSOLUTELY knew that Auburn was overranked at the time

This is irrelevant to anything. Its called going back and analyzing the season when it is over.

How bout the Missouri game?Once again you had to take down Vegas since you KNEW the were a "decent" team

Vegas? No dingus, once again you look at the big picture of Mizzou's body of work at the end of season. They finished 11-2, which includes a bad loss to us and Indiana.

Start understanding what your reading a little better.

The point I was making went completely over your head (which obvoiusly isn't very hard to do) These 2 seasons are opposite from one another becuase we beat the ranked teams that we played last compared to the ranked teams we played THIS YEAR.

A fourth grader could understand your point. I merely corrected you on the fact that the ranked teams we beat last year were over-ranked when we played them outside of Mizzou.

quote:

Doesn't really matter what your opinion of the teams we beat. The facf of the matter was they were ranked and we beat em by an average of 27 pts.Of course you already knew how shitty they were before we played them

No comment here, this is just pathetic.

If Pruitt is a problem with the way he deals with the other coaches ... Including Richt...the admin is going to be in a tight spot for this reason. All hell will break loose of Pruitt is the one that walks....which I'm afraid is going to happen.

I don't know how CMR remains under this scenario....but who knows.

Reality doesn't exist for a lot of Disney Dawgs. DawgLife does bring up decent points sometimes, but you should check out the Disneys on DawgPost.

It's full of dumb logic like....
1) If Mark Richt goes....Eason Goes
2) Georgia is historically bad....we shouldn't expect anything higher than our history shows

You can say the same thing for the downers who think that we have never done anything good at all in our entire history other than have herschel walker.

Logically, you shouldn't "expect" UGA to do better than they have historically. You can certainly want them to...hope for them to... And if you lack a sense of reality, transpose your personal expectations on an entity you can not control and yet trick yourself into thinking that the more emotional energy you put into it, the more direct ownership of the entity becomes yours....
