You don't know a lot.

Facepaint is on his head.

And his dad was the original. He was 2nd generation. And last I saw, his son is 3rd generation.

Adult fans supporting their teams differently. Why you gotta hate on fans? Or adult fans?

I'm sorry, it's just so lame.

Big Dawg showed some spirit but never crossed the line of tackiness like the Spike Squad does.

No offense to the Spike Squad but it's just not Georgia.

This is called "LARPing". Google it.

This is Dungeons and Dragons in Sanford stadium and it's embarrassing.

I'm good as long as we don't go to that little jumpy, music thing that all the ACC schools do. And while I'm at it, I'd like to see our band come up with something for 3rd down plays other than those damn flutes!!!

Nothing says Saturday's Down South like glasses of bourbon, sundresses, fried chicken on a tailgate.....................and LARPing.

The things we argue about here...SMH.

The players have embraced the spike squad and made their gimmick a part of the game day experience with the spiked turnover pads. Quite frankly, it doesn't matter what our conservative fan base likes or doesn't like. If the team embraces it, then it's alright by me. After all, the psyches of the 18-22 year olds we spend 1/3 of each year slobbering all over are far more important to team cohesion and success than those of the 25-85 year old fans who seemingly want to argue about everything, regardless of the actual relevance of the point being argued over.

It's right there for anybody to go back and read. You said that the late and beloved Mike Woods was an unoriginal run of the mill schlub because he painted his face like so many other fans around the globe do.

This is a pretty embarrassing gaff on your part not to know that he painted his bald head and not his face...... so I guess now is when you try to claim you meant he bought something off the shelf called "face paint" to paint his head with. Unreal.

No. The thought that in a stadium with 90000+ and a fan base of probably million that their won't be diversity of thought and expression is silly. The idea of "that just isn't us" is dumb.

Best way out of hole is to quit digging. Spike Squad is an extra set of cheerleaders. They're there when you aren't.

No. Unless they're wearing an elaborate fantasy cosplay costume of a comic book or movie character etc.
