Just got home from Suntrust. I like the new park as far as watching the game. Doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Sat in section 330 and felt like I could see the game as well as sitting lower in the outfield where I normally sit. On the other hand, concourses are too narrow. Concession lines were long and completely blocked the aisles. Concessions are more pricey than at Turner, 6.50 for a 20 oz. Coke, 8.50 for nachos and cold cheese.

Pretty much all this. I went to The UGA-Missouri game before the stadium officially opened, and got to catch each inning in a different part of the stadium. The seats have all been pushed up closer to the field, and there's pretty much a great view even in the cheap seats. The concourses are very narrow, so it would be a pain for a big game. And yea, the prices on concessions are absurd. A regular beer is $8.50, but most of them are $9.50.

It's a pretty nice stadium with some cool features, but it's nothing innovative or unique. It's not a bad place to catch a game.

In every lower level seat, you use the app to order your food/drinks and it's brought directly to your seat....

They have 2 x 100gig connections into the park with 800+ Wifi access points

The entire stadium is LED lighting with the most amazing screen in MLB

The innings scoreboard is revolutionary and unique

Outside of it being the most innovative park in MLB...I guess it's not unique

Its a weird look on tv. Camera shot of pitcher has chop house gameshow contestants in background.

Why do you need a desk to drink coors light at a baseball game?

This sounds like an unfixable clusterfrick. Was it just the section you were in?

Anyone been to both Suntrust and Gwinnett Braves? How does the Gwinnett Braves experience compare to Suntrust?

Full disclosure: I hate Suntrust bank and the last Braves game I saw had Bob Horner on 1st.

I agree, it looks a little weird, but that's only a small section of the 3 story chop house. They have a bar on top with tons of standing room, private decks, and even a bar/seating on the ground floor where you watch the game through the opening in the outfield fence.

Sorry. That makes no sense whatsoever.

HItters field for sure though. CHipper JOnes would have unseated ______ _____ if he'd of got to play in 6 flags north.

I agree, there doesn't seem to a remedy for this problem.

Can't speak for the rest of the park. I went about 5 sections from my seat to get nachos. An inning and a half later I got back to my seat...with cold nachos. Never left the seat again until the game ended.

Yes, I collected cards as a kid. No idea what happened to my collection. Disappeared after a family move.

Might have just been your section? One of the first things my friends talked about was how open the stadium was and how much room there was in the concourses. Sounds like they were wrong.
