That would've been awesome. I'd bet Enos wants out with how everyone has treated Pittman for leaving.

Kirby Smart comes from the Saban school of coaching where talent is paramount. Every decision is based on creating the most talented and deep team possible.

In that context, the Chaney hire makes complete sense.

Because he can play on both lines in a pinch?

Because he knows pro-style and has successfully showcased every offensive position.

He better hope we win some damn games next year or that ain't gonna fly.....hard to build depth when your recruiting class in shite..these kids today have no state pride or loyalty....it's all about the money...how fast can they get it and who is more likely to get them to it

WG... I agree with you. Not thrilled nor satisfied with the hire (not that anyone gives a frick). I thought the objective for UGA in a coaching/staff change was to... Well, CHANGE... It's a pedestrian hire at best. I just don't see how having Arkansas's offense, and a better than average defense, is going to win the SEC/NC. Better off keeping Richt if this shite was in the planning. frick...

No, I think this was about having someone with significant play-calling experience under his belt, while nabbing Pittman to shore up the OL. EVERYBODY looks better behind solid, beef steer on the line. The move was all about Pittman.

The more I read on this, the more Bielema just comes off as a complete douche to me. Apparently, Pittman was going to talk to his guys at 10:30 the next morning but he never got the chance. I think Bert may have a hard time finding coaches to come to Fayetteville, if he keeps selling his former guys out like this.

I wonder if Enos could have fought the no compete thing. It would be funny if after his 3 year contract is up he left to take Chaney's place in Athens. We could have hawgmelt part 2.

Saban will likely be gone, too so Cochran would be ours too.
