We had a freakin ban bet from the ND game and this bitch is not living up to the terms.

I just read that series of posts and it looks like at least a 2 month ban is in order...if not the permaban as both originally agreed.

From reading the stupididty of that thread in it's entirety it sounds like jacketfan asked the bet to be placed on the helpboard which sounds like was never done therefore making the bet null and void. He was perfectly fine with the bet but also asked that it be done the correct way which it wasn't.

An offer was made and accepted. Approval by a 3rd party is irrelevant.

He also asked for terms to be met. I know when I bet with someone if terms are not met then any agreement upon the bet is no longer valid. He asked several times for the bet to be put to chicken and he would approve it but that was refused.

Chicken or his admins have never enforced a ban bet that I can recall in the 7 years I've been on here. Stonehog still posts & he welched on a ban bet last fall...
Pretty sure Chickens position is that it's a question of honor on the posters part to honor a ban bet...
Feel free to correct me WG or anyone else, but I can't remember admins enforcing one....

I'm talking about how he specifically asked for certain terms that you refused to do therefore no agreement was ever set in stone.
Also, DGD is not going to ban him nor is any other mod for a bet.

Not sure, the point still stands. He asked for certain terms and those terms weren't met. It's my understanding that if a party asks for terms and they are refused which they clearly were then we no longer have an agreement.

Then ban him for being a Tech fan on a UGA board. I'm sure you can at least revoke GSB access which I think is plenty fair in this case.

Those weren't terms of the bet IMO...that was a request to get it enforced by Chicken. The terms were each would accept a ban based on the outcome of the game...and those were agreed to - although RD did go back to 2 months vs permaban
