Having Austin as a trip in the 1st year in the SEC for Texas will be amazing

For pure comedy, I want them to punt to the college station trip as far away as they can under the new system. Not cause I want to dodge it, but because it's a great running gag at this point

It really is

There's so many things I'm intrigued about tonight. We'll porbably get a handful of standards like UK or SC or whatever but I 'm cuyrious how they handle us with the big boys.

-Assuming rumors are true we'll get Texas on the road.
-Do they ALSO give us OU? I would certainly think not
-Bama/LSU? We played @bama in 20 and had them here in 15, but now that we're currently the 2 big dawgs in the league it wouldn't shock me if they had us play in '24 for TV ratings
-We went to LSu in 18 but they haven't been here since '13, do they throw them in the mix?

The big thing I keep comign back to is clemosn. Call me a pansy or whatever, but with already opening wiht them I would hope our schedule is as light and easy as possible. If we had tech and 3 cupcakes then I'd get loading us up but I hope we would be "rewarded" in a sense for scheduling clemson wiht a bit of a breather in conferenc.e

Schedule I'm looking at claims to be "official". Texas, Vandy, LSU and AU in Athens. TAMU and Mizzou on the road. Clemson/ UF neutral sites. Rest throw away games

Right now the only confirmations I’ve seen are:
Clemson in ATL
Tennessee Tech
@Texas
@Bama
Florida in Jax
UMass
Tech

So unless we get LSU or Oklahoma in Athens, home schedule is going to be boring as shite (again) save for maybe a Tennessee or Auburn thrown in

I really don't understand why they'd have us play at bama. If they want us to play then whatever but athens would make so much more sense

Gonna get on my nerves if they make us go to Bama again with them not coming here

We went to Columbia MO in those carpetbaggers' first year and set the tone. Doing the same in Austin will be a privilege.

Didn't they win the east their first year?

Nope. They got their teeth kicked in by the Dawgs and we got our heart broken on the 5 yard line of the GA Dome vs Bama.

MiZZZou won the East by benefitting from devastating injuries to the 2013 Dawgs, and again in 2014. Somehow.

frick those frauds.

Radi is basically projecting the following:

Clemson (ATL)
Tennessee Tech

Auburn
Tennessee
Miss State
@Texas
@Bama
@Kentucky
@Ole Miss
Florida (Jax)

UMass
Tech

Sick and tired of Auburn and Tennessee being our biggest home games

Does 2025 start all over from scratch again, or is there any continuation? In other words would we assume that if the above is correct, that we'd have Texas and bama at home in 2025?

Frick that- Bama owes us a trip. And to make us travel to Tuscaloosa and Austin is ridiculous. We're the reigning, and defending, back to back Champs for dawgs sake!

PS- last time SEC needed a schedule change we went to AU back to back. SEC needs to quit fricking with us. In fact they owe us one.

Safe bet right now is that this is a one off schedule, especially if they introduce a 9th game in 2025
