there will LITERALLY never be a better time to correct the AU situation and have them play in athens in 24 and 25. Let's see if the SEC has any balls to do it. Ah who am I kidding, they wont'.

Worth noting that we lose South Carolina for the first time in 30+ years.

Good news is we finally offload Mizzou. fricking hated that worthless game.

I know that's kind of a "meh who cares" thing from our persepctive but I have to wonder how their side feels abotu that. Sure the game (it's ceratinly not a rivalry) is lopsided but we're BY FAR their biggest SEC opponent and are their 2nd biggest game behind clemson. I'm sure they'll like not having the extra beating on the schedule but it's gotta seem a bit weird to not have us on their schedule I'd imagine

So we lose Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Mizzou for Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas.

Seems fair.

Instead we'll go back to Tuscaloosa. Kind of the same I guess....

Bama gets Missouri vandy and Carolina and we get none of them. Our two biggest marquee games against bama and Texas are on the road.

Blows my mind that the current back to back champs and kings of cfb get shite on constantly when it comes to scheduling.

Auburn got the easiest schedule of Big 6 so far....by a long shot.

Oklahoma gonna be bitching for a while about UT having the easier schedule next year

I think that schedule is going to be a lot tougher than most think. We open with Clemson. A lot of things are going to depend on how they plug teams into the schedule. Going to Bama and/or Texas early in the season could be a tough place to break in a new QB.

But I'm glad we will get to see Kirby vs Lane and Hugh Freeze teams. We owe Ole Miss a beating after they put on us in 2016. And it'll be nice to return the favor to Freeze and Auburn.

Home schedule isn't great, but it should make for some great games to watch on Saturdays.

It is a new world for sure. That Clemson game is definitely less appealing now.

Brooks confirmed that if we stay at 8 games for 2025, we would simply flip the home and away sites of the 2024 games (so Bama, Texas, Ole Miss, Kentucky would come here and we would go to Auburn, Tennessee, Miss St. Florida could potentially be in Gainesville or Athens pending the Jacksonville stadium remodel)
