especially considering our depth chart.

Well that's just silly. No school has ever recruited a 5 star QB three classes in a row. In fact, if we miss on JF it will likely be due to our depth chart...

ETA: Should say successfully recruited.

Pardon my ignorance, but other than Eason and Fields, who is the other 5 star? I thought Fromm was a 4 star.

Yea but we all know that 247 is the only recruiting site that matters

It's whatever fits your particular narrative. However, if a recruit is a 5* in more than one service, I think it's ok to call them a 5*.

Any rumblings about Salyer today?

Clemson boards have him leaning that way again

The 2nd part of your statement is true, but only having 2 scholarship QBs is absolutely a depth issue. It's one of the reasons we fought so hard to get Ramsey back on scholarship this year.

They've got as much of a chance at landing him, as Auburn does at getting Fields

Instate school, UGA needs him, teammate prob gonna start for UGA this fall as a freshman.

IMO Salyer is all UGA unless we are a dumpster fire this fall.

I've read where Andrew Thomas is Salyer's best friend. Is that correct?

They also think it's only a Clemson and Stanford raise.

Not exactly a 2018 thing, but solid update on Devonte Wyatt on DN today: LINK

In summary: Needs a 3.0 in 2 classes at Hutchinson this semester. He is a hermit, doesn't go out, only plans on studying and watching UGA football games along with Last Chance U. Weird comments about test scores getting flagged and not coming in soon enough... seems like NCAA clearinghouse is code for "horsesh!t voodoo wizardry". Doesn't even plan on taking any recruiting visits to UGA this semester, just going to take the time to study and plans to join UGA in January assuming no problems with the classes.

Good friends with Hill. They skipped the last event at Clemson that they were going to attend together

So I read an article today that stated that Zamir White told Saban the day before he committed to us, that he was gonna commit to Bama. I wonder wether this is true or not.... If it is I also wonder if he was really conflicted about the decision or if he was trolling Bama Here's the link

With no direct quote I'm gonna go with that may have been stretching some info there... I certainly believe it's possible, and we're going to have to work to make sure we retain him, but not sure I buy the bait/switch from Zamir given his personality and how much he seems to dislike the recruiting game in general.
