Bad weekend for my Eagles but a great weekend for Fromm
Jake Fromm had 652 yards of total offense against the top-ranked defense in Class AAAAAA. 530 yards and four touchdowns passing and 122 yards rushing. Northside came in giving up just eight points per game

And Fromms been doing this against teams from the deep south not lily white private schools from the PNW. Im starting to think I might be more excited about Jake getting here more than I was for Jacob. Time will tell.

He will end up as the best we ever had. I called it first. He's Aaron Murray that can see over the Oline.

No real surprise. It's really hard to pull kids out of that state.

Just got a CB for Tyler Taylor... Looks to be a bit undersized on his film for LB but may could play Safety.

Looks like you're right.

Rivals says he's 6-1 213.

Might need an inch or 2 and about 15 lbs for LB (imo).

According to a post on the Vols board Jalen Hurd's uncle released a tweet saying Jalen is leaving because Butch Jones made a bunch of promises to the young man and never followed through. Basically said he lied to him. Obviously this can't help Vol recruiting but I wonder how much it will hurt

Hard to say, really. Obviously Butch has to make promises to get players to go to Tennessee. They don't have a great pool of talent to pull from in their own state. (Which makes their past history that much more impressive) He has been pulling scholarships from lower rated recruits at the last minute. That's not good. Now that it is getting out that he is making promises and not keeping them, it potentially could be bad for them. But....kids WANT to believe, so...

Yeah, but he hasn't been able to deliver a damned thing. The bricks are falling over.

I love the enthusiasm but man I can't help but think some of yall set your own selves up for disappointment. The guy you're talking about being the best QB in our entire history is currently halfway through his senior year of high school. How bout we let him get to campus first and see what happens?
