If signing day were today, yeah. Long way to go though obviously

Man I love being in it with all these top recruits
Even if Kirby doesn't work out long term (I think he does) atleast the roster will be loaded with 4*'s and 5*'s

Well, just in case y'all wanted some good news. RE: D'Angelo Gibbs
Might as well wrap this one up. Congrats
quote:
’ve been to some other big games, but this is probably one of the biggest games I’ve probably been to,” Gibbs said. “I was at the Georgia game last year. … But this was kind of a little bit more because they hadn’t beaten Florida, I guess, here in 11 years. I can see why everybody was excited for this win.”
“He said Tennessee is the place to be, and he loves it,” Gibbs said of Warrior. “Every day they’re working hard. They’ve been preparing him to get better. He’s got to recognize some of the plays better, get to know their system a little bit better. He loves it. He’s telling me, ‘Come up here.’ But, like I say in every interview, if it’s not for me, it’s not for me.
“He understands that. He wants me to just keep coming up here, keep showing me around and showing me a good time.”
Another of Gibbs’ cousins, cornerback J.R. Reed, transferred from Tulsa to Georgia this summer.
“Georgia having J.R., it helps them a lot,” Gibbs said. “He can’t play this year, but in practice he’s a great player, and everybody’s saying he’ll be on the field when he has the ability and time to.
“As far as me and him, we’re very close. We talk almost every day. He’s like my brother. He came from Texas, and we used to work out all the time. We grew up together, (about) the same age. He’s just like my brother. He’s enjoying the environment, as well.”
Might as well wrap this one up. Congrats

We should get Aubrey Solomon and Malik Herring.
He plays Houston (Jake Fromm) next weekend. Lee County has allowed 7 yards rushing through five games.
USA TODAY SOLOMON
He's a QB Terrorist! Watch his TCC game.

Far left is Andrew Thimas I think. Left of Pittman is Netori Johnson. Not sure about the other 3.

I figured our 4 OL commits but not sure who the 5th might be

The dude with the black hat and red rag is Salyer I think.

That's what I'd suspected. Would be a big pick up (and one that is suspected for 2018) but wasn't sure if it was a 2017 guy or not

UGA offensive line is going to be beastly in a couple years. This is by far the best group lineman prospects I have seen in my 18 or so years of following Georgia football. And we know Pittman will coach them up.

I think today will be a big positive for our recruiting despite the loss. Sanford was absolutely rocking and in the pandemonium that followed the Eason to Ridley TD I did notice the recruit section going ape shite.

Yes this was probably a GREAT recruiting weekend for UGA despite the loss. The players don't look these games the same way we do. I seriously doubt any recruit that attended that game is thinking that Kirby is in over his head. In fact they are saying Kirby is building a great program once he gets all his players in you check out the recruit's reaction article on 247. It's free.
I have to think Tevor Lawrence is a strong Dawg lean now after seeing how well a Qb that is similar his talent level is progressing as a true freshman. Clemson can't negative recruit about our offense any more.

Lawrence was at the Clemson-Louisville game so this won't do much for us and him

That doesn't matter. You don't think he is paying VERY close attention to Eason? I think the better Eason plays the higher our chances of landing Lawrence. When he looks at Eason he can see himself playing the same way. He is nothing like Watson and nothing like the quarterbacks Clemson has had recent success with.
Clemson is selling him on changing their system to fit his skills while he is a perfect fit for what UGA is doing right now and he is seeing that he could be successful.
I also personally believe that UGA has the more favorable depth chart situation. Watson is gone after this year and Clemson has a few highly rated Qb prospects that can get ahead of him including a 5 star in their current class. At UGA he arrives for Eason's last season and gets a year to prep on campus before battling Fromm for the starting spot. I will be surprised if he doesn't commit to UGA.

Pic of Gibbs, Lecounte and Netori. Netori's reaction made me laugh.
