I read a post where he (Sterling) says USCjr and someone else (maybe Tennessee) was recruiting him the hardest, but there's literally no way to know what that actually means.

I'm Active Duty Air Force and stationed at Mountain Home AFB up here. Boise is beautiful. The people here are pretty awesome too. They are huge Boise State homers though. It's hilarious to listen to their sports' radio shows. They think they can beat everyone.
I've been here for 3 years so my time to move again is coming up. The wife wants to move back to Florida where she was born.
So I've been trying to move back to Florida.

What's really strange is our 247 mod said Alabama definitely wants him in this class yet he is being recruited harder by Tennessee and USCe. So my question was if you want him in the class why are you allowing yourself to be outworked for him?
No one has put in a CB for him yet (which usually happens when a player decommits) so I have no idea what the thinking is for him. It appears y'all aren't knocking down his door so who knows?

Where at in Florida? Eglin? I am currently at Eglin GS. We come tdy to Mountain Home occasionally.

I've been stationed at MacDill, but I don't want to go there again. Tampa is too damn expensive.
I'd take Eglin or Hurlburt Field. I actually put in for a position at Duke Field north of Eglin, but apparently didn't get it. Tyndall would be okay I guess. Panama City is a shite hole though.
If you come to Mountain Home you know how sad and remote the base is.

I read a stat claiming that Richt never signed 2 4* or higher tackles in one class. Not sure if that is true or not, but if it is then that is absolutely damning for the situation we're in. I know Richt was quoted early in his career that he felt OL was not as important because skill guys can make up for mediocre OL play... I can't disagree more with that sentiment.

My wish was always for UGA to recruit OL talent at the same level they looked for the skill players. Championships are won in the trenches. Richt never seemed to get that. At least if he did, he couldn't ever get it all together at once.

Not 2017 related but a lot of rumors going around that OTs Chuma Edoga and EJ Price of USC are looking to transfer. Yesterday Edoga followed Kirby, Richt and a Michigan coach on Twitter. If you remember both of these guys are from Ga, wouldn't object to getting them to Athens.

We wanted both of those guys bad. That sucks that they wouldn't be able to play till 2018, but we'd definitely benefit from having them, all the same.

Just a game or two ago, Edoga got tossed from a game for pushing a ref...not sure if that has any bearing on whether or not we'd be interested, but that's gotta be some kind of red flag

Yea, I love this area. Destin, Ft. Walton and Niceville have grown a lot. There is definitely not a lot other than the outdoors around Mountain Home. Which is cool for a short tdy.

I was stationed at Mt Home and loved it. Boise is pretty cool and the northern half of the state is beautiful! Vacationed in McCall and Sun Valley a bit. Good trout fishing and upland game hunting.
