Too close for comfort. JJ is going to have to do this every game for us to win.

We have to rebound better. We are playing with three guards in the floor. Juwan is playing the three but but he isn't a true three.

Mike Edwards and Wilridge are gonna have to step up on the boards.

I hate this phrase so much but a win is a win. Without our best player and this late in the season I'll take it.

To be honest, they didn't play bad when you look at the numbers but we have glaring holes in our rebounding and our defense wasn't great in the second half.

If only JJ had played this way all year... would have been a totally different season. Glad he finally found it again though, the kid is a damn good dawg

With the win, we dropped to 54 in RPI. SOS dropped to 21 from 16.

If you believe in moral victories, and we know you do, you also should believe in moral losses.

No way in hell this game should have been so close. Basically, outside of JJ, no one else can consistently score so unless he drops 25+ every night, then we're in deep shite. It's pretty damn disturbing that we're 1 injury away from being on LSU's level. It will be another quick exit in the NIT this year.

I get the frustration... I'm glad they won and we are upset. Could you imagine my melt if LSU would had won?

I mean, it's the 2nd best player in the conference. If any team had that type of injury save UK and UF they'd be screwed. Look at SC without Thornwell.

Also, I really can't get over what a stupid timeout that was by Fox with 1.6 on the clock when we were up 1 and LSU had the ball and no TOs. Why give them the chance to set up a play?

I'm glad that we won, it's much better than the alternative. However, our team management and lack of offensive identity is inexcusable.

I understand that Maten being out changes things, but we haven't offensive game plan aside from "get the ball to JJ and hope it goes well". We're not a well coached team.

no one disputes that. We all knew we were in deep crap when yante went down.

There is no reason we should have had to take the lead with 1 second left against thsi LSU team. This team that just set an all time SEC record for consecutive losses. A team playing on the road that in their last 3 games lost by 23 points to Auburn, 18 points to bama, and 20 points to ole miss. A team we led by 17 in the first half! Then were losing with 2 seconds left. It's just typical Fox. Even when we win, often times it's juuuuuuuuuuust barely good enough, against teams that we should be much better than. We damn sure aren't beating any teams that are better than us outside of a few rare minor miracles.

And once again, we are plagued by head scratching roster management. Crump plays like 2 mpg all season, in the games he even plays in, then finally starts against UT and balls out. Barely plays the next game. So today when we're down our best player and JJ is going to be stretched thin and we need some help, and Harris is out with an injury....he plays 8 minutes and is yanked after missing a 3 after hitting the previous 2.

It's almost like he is so hard headedly stubborn that he has told Crump in practice to take good shots and the instant he turns it over and makes a bad decision he benches him the rest of the game just to make a point.

We didn't have an identity when our best player was playing.

That's because Fox doesn't know how to use our players offensively. He doesn't develop them consistently across the board. Watching Crump knocking down 3s tonight, it became really apparent that we don't try to be balanced whatsoever. Under a better head coach, I'm certain Frazier wouldn't be scoring 28 points a game. Because he wouldn't have to. The offense could move through more than just one or two players. And it'd be dynamic.
