Whatever his name is. He calls a lot of UGA and the more I see him the worse I think.

I really don't like the rules adjustments this year. Offensive players can't create space but defensive plays can arm bar. That's not right.

Yante has been really off tonight. JJ hasn't been a whole lot better

No he hasn't...I think Fox was about to start chewing on the refs. Those last two calls were horrible again and one of them was for us.

We might be about to make a run here. We seem to usually respond well when Fox gets pissed.

5-17 from our 2 leaders.....and only down 7. Typical UGA

He's been meh at the FT line and while, yeah, he's getting mauled down low, he's missing hooks and lay ins that normally he excels at making. Don't get me wrong, an off night for Yante is a good night for most everyone else on the team but he has still been off

I agree he is having an off night. I thought you typed something else and were still talking about Pat Adams.

I think we need to creat shots off the drive and Dish and let Yante find that mid range jumper. They are packing the paint and their length is giving us a lot of trouble.

This is what happens when JJ is your only semblance of a long range threat and he's half the size of damn near everyone on Carolina's team. Because JJ and Yante excel in different areas, a good team like Carolina can find ways to shut both down without any fear of someone else filling that void. We just have 2 very good players and then a bunch of mediocrity supporting them (though give Derek and Harris credit, they're young but improving)

JJ can be electric with those quick runs but he's killing me tonight. Exciting when he's in a rhythm and is hitting his shots but he just isn't hitting those pull up jumpers or those sprints down the court

We have a young team overall. Our fan base sucks. I'm sorry I'm complaining a lot tonight but that place needs to be rocking right now. We have some momentum and trying to come back in a major game but they are sitting in their seats!

We get the rebound off another Maten FT miss, dick around, get blocked, Parker chokes shot clock violation.

That is the story of damn near the whole game for us on offense

It's sad to me that JJ has to ask the crowd to get into it and he just gets some applause that dies out once they start moving.

I haven't seen any shots of the student section yet but given that classes start tomorrow, those seats should be full for this game (though I can almost guarantee they're not).

Parker not shooting that wide open look was brutal.

Man I've had to listen to the whole thing on the radio and as I finally get home this is how we finish.

Not getting that rebound on the FT hurts, leads to an and-1.

This is very contrary to many people on the rant but I love Mark Fox. IMO, he is one hell of a coach who is still building and has a very young team. However, I think they will watch the film of this game and really kick themselves for the way they have played offensively. Just like they have played South Carolina's game all night by trying to force the ball into the paint.

As I type this we pull within one with less than a minute but I stand by this statement.
