Bro you watch football period, blowing up people on special is all well and good, but playing ILB is another story. He has shown me he has a good knack to getting to the football. Can he play in space and read offenses remains to be seen.

I'm just saying that his limited playing time had led to some big plays. To say you have no faith in him seems unwarranted, IMO.

I have some faith he can be good. Kid definitely can hit and looks to be able to read kick returners pretty well. I hope that translate to defense, and it might with run defense but it definitely doesn't guarantee him being good in pass coverage.
I also feel like we've gotten a little off topic so I'm sorry for contributing to that. Regardless of whether Kimbrough and Carter turn out to be great, I would like to be safe and make sure we have as much depth as we can at ILB.

Of course there can. I never said anything to the contrary. From watching some film on this kid I actually think he can be pretty good. He played QB in high school and some safety as well. It looked like he's pretty solid in pursuit as well, but we will see. I'm glad we got this kid and I hope he can be a good addition to this football team.

Just a heads up, but I have read on several sites now that the Chad Kelly arrest in Buffalo is a huge blow for Ole Miss as they are looking to flip Van Jefferson. But, right now, Van and his family cannot fully get behind UGA right now with the Bobo uncertainty. I think we are starting to get a clearer picture on him as to why he told Dean Legge that he may not early enroll.

Even if he doesn't go this year, he will go another year. Kids need to realize that it this day and age, they are not likely to have the same coaching staff throughout their college careers. They are far better off committing to a school than a coaching staff. It is the only thing that will stay constant.

We need to get Bobo a pay raise along with an extension and get him to put out some comments that he is committed to UGA for the long haul (or at least until we have Eason's LOI).
