With our upcoming schedule if our defense can continue to play like they have I could seriously see us losing only one game until we get to the Colts. We have lucked out with our timing playing against the Cowboys after all the injuries they've had, Texans are pretty bad, Redskins are an average team, Saints , Titans have potential but still pretty average, Bucs are okay depending on which Winston shows up and I'm still not sure what to think about the 49ers.

Dan Quinn really has a good shot to do great things in his first year, hopefully he's up for it.

Awful isn't the right word to describe what they look like tonight. Warmed over dog shite is more accurate.

You're right about the injury luck. Falcons catch a HUGE break with that.

They might be bad, but JJ Watt is the only defensive player in the league who can win games by himself. Our OL will need to stand on their heads that day.

I'm starting to feel a little optimistic about this team. Mike Smith's Falcons implode and lose that NYG game 34-10.

So true. We've made some great improvements in past yr. Need to find another wr option other than Julio to keep all the pressure off of him though.

Also, looks like the Dallas has gotten their greasy grips on Matt Cassel. Not sure how much of the playbook he will be able to grasp in a short week but he's definitely a better option for them than Weeden. I still like our chances.

I personally don't expect Cassel to even be on the active roster. They have Weeden who was 7-7 last week, a good OL, and they really seem to like what Kellen Moore can do for them as a backup QB.

True, but the Eagles were playing like shite. I'd expect Atl to dial up some pressure and put him on the ground early and often. They are going to rely heavily on their running game, and our run D is vastly improved with Quinn at helm. This is a good match up for Atlanta

Hankerson had a nice game Sunday. Hopefully he can do it since it feels like Roddy is at the end of his career.

Hankerson has stepped up for sure. He could have some opportunities to have big plays since Julio will be getting the most attention and doubles. I'm with ya on Roddy, I wish he had some sort of trade value.

But Beasley sucks, right?

You are such a little bitch.

Just because I said he didn't look good in the first game and was mostly non existent and this is you're conclusion. I also said if he played better I would say so. I am a straight shooter. If someone plays like shite I don't make excuses for them unlike the player worshiping ****s like yourself. I didn't get to watch the last game so I will assume he played well.

He had a pretty good day. He gave NYG problems on pass downs, which is what he was drafted to do. He forced Eli to fumble on a critical third down late in the game. It took a really unfortunate bounce right into the hands of Larry Donnell that inexplicably ended up being a first down.

Good lord, can yall just stfu about it already. We don't need this thread littered with Beasley comments, unless you're suckin him off. Then proceed.

I always thought the offense can't fumble forward and thus not giving them a shitty BS first down. Guess not

I think that rule only applies in the last two minutes of a half. The rule came into existence because the Raiders "accidentally" fumbled forward a few times on a play in the mid 70s against the Chargers. The "holy roller" play.

Awe, somebody is really butthurt he got called out.

Look, it doesn't matter which player we're talkin about. It just happens to be Beasley. If you had said Alford sucks or Moore misses too many tackles or Tyson Jackson is a waste of money, I would have agreed with you. If you would have said Hankerson has sucked or Hageman has sucked or our OL has sucked, I would have called you out for being wrong just like I did with Beasley.

You were wrong. You're not a "straight shooter calling it like you see it", because Beasley was overwhelmingly far from "sucking" in that first game.

I posted the PFF stats showing him with positive grades in both games. You're welcome to do a Google search on him right now and you'll easily see that he's getting praises from virtually every news outlet in existence because he's been playing so well. So much so that he's currently in the lead for defensive rookie of the year. Top 10 Rookies so far...

He's also played 62% of our defensive snaps, 93 of 150, which contradicts you're assertion that he's only a situational player.

You were wrong. I corrected you. You got butthurt. Boo fricking hoo, ya baby.

Best of luck today guys. I'll do my best not to be an obnoxious Cowboys fan... especially because I'm not very optimistic about the game today
