You fashionistas with your needs to have the team play dress up.

The black jerseys will never appear again.

I thought 2007 was louder. Hmmph, to each his own

When Prince Miller took that PR back there has never been a louder moment in Sanford Stadium. Same with pregame. 2007 AU is jus remembered more fondly in people's minds. Frankly, the team played poorly in the 2nd quarter and then they came back it and started blowing them out. It wasn't a close game either way and the crowd wasn't really as loud as say 2014 Clemson or 2013 LSU. Those were louder IMO, it was just the 1st qtr when fans were still enamored with the black jerseys that it had some more juice.

Not to take away from that game, the 07 blackout is one of the best moments in my fandom.

Maybe for a Georgia game. The loudest explosion of sound was on August 3rd, 1996. Nigeria scored in the 89th minute to beat Argentina in the men's gold medal match. Absolute pandemonium.

I, for one, have no problem with the blackouts. I'm glad they're not doing it this time, but I think it would make a huge statement if they would have. Screw superstition. If a jersey color is the difference between winning and losing, you probably don't deserve to win in the first place. It shows confidence.

It'd be cool if they chose one game every year to do a blackout, imo. Whatever gets the fans / players hype is fine. It's fun.

We are pussy if we bring them out on a lesser team like Kentucky. Bama gave you guys PTSD and its embarrassing.

Anybody who blames the black jerseys for the team coming out flat is an idiot.

Agree 100%. That picture shows how incredible the effect was.

If it was a night game this saturday and we blacked it out again, I would be all for it.
