He's going to whoop the dog snot out of everyone when he goes to UTw. Mark my words. We had our chance to strike during their down-cycle at the end of Mack's tenure and through their doldrums with Strong while we had the SEC & Johnny bump and blew it because Sumlin sucks.

Don't give up hope yet. There is still the chance that Strong sticks around for year four and a good not Texas Power 5 job takes Herman away.

Y'all assume way too much when it comes to Hermans capabilities

I wish. Even if he never went to Houston he would be a hot coach given what he accomplished at OSU. They took a real step back without him, like we did without KK.

He's the real deal. I'm assuming very little because the proof is in the pudding: OSU was not as good without him at all, showing that he had a lot to do with their miracle Natty, which they won despite losing 3 QBs. Then he came to UH, stole our recruit, and won the conference.

Our one hope is that Strong has a Fran-bounce this year, gets another year, and in the meantime another top job comes open.

So you think he beats Oklahoma next season?

He very well may. He beat a 2 loss FSU team at a "neutral site" with a team that plays in a 30,000 stadium for a commuter school across the street from literal crack houses.

You guys don't think you go after Kingsbury? He was at A&M when the blueprint was working for Sumlin. He seems to be the missing piece to the current formula. Team him with Chavis, wouldn't that experiment be worth a shot?

If we got Kingsbury back and had Chavis w/ Tate at qb we wouldn't lose for 5+ seasons
