8 in a row, 12 of the last 13. Stros lead the majors in homers and I think stolen bases too. 4.5 game lead with the Angela currently down.

'Stros looking pretty good!

Do y'all feel the AL West is down this year? Rangers don't look great but it's still early of course.

I ask because that is always said about the Central - Detroit and the 4 dwarves although now it appears to be Detroit/KC and 3 dwarves.

I think they could win the division at 85-77 honestly. Every other team in it has major issues. The Stros have theirs but I think they're the best top to bottom right now

The west is definitely not what it has been. I think the stros will come back to the pack a bit. But the way it looks they are the best looking team in the division right now.

At 28-16, @astros have best 44-game record in franchise history. Previous was 27-17 in 1998. That club won team-record 102 games.

I really wish the 'stros would stop messing around and bring up Carlos.

29 games in Double A, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs, and 1.185 OPS
11 games in Triple A, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs, and a .914 OPS

He's a 6'4" 210 pound pure baseball smashing Puerto Rican stud.

It'll be the first start of his career.

I was in the car listening to the 'stros/Tigers the other day and he came into the game. I didn't realize he wasn't with Boston anymore. 'stros got ahold of him for 2 runs in less than an inning. I was a little conflicted.

welp, change of plan. Wilson no longer starting. Apparently they called up a guy from AAA and had planned for him to start but he wasn't at the stadium so they announced Wilson.

Dude just walked thru the door and they sent him out to the pen to get loose. Game starts in 5

How about those Rangers. Just fun to watch. I'm glad I decided to enjoy the ride come hell or high water.

Seems like the whole league is bunched up. The Nl Central is the only one I can think of that has any significant separation.

Edit for NL.

Not good so far. 4 games under right now. Bunch of injuries in the first 2 months. Don't know if they've got enough bats to get it done.
A week ago today, my Dad was visiting, and I took him to Camden Yards to see the O's and the Stros. Best tics I've ever had: row 9 behind the Stros dugout. And it was a gorgeous night for baseball.
