The mods are volunteer. They get free subscriptions. So almost all of them have 3 stars (if you're trying to spot them that's a good start). twk is a mod but just one of several that cover the rivalries and baseball board. Each mod is given about 3-4 boards to monitor. All you have to do is email the owner, Brandon, and ask to be a mod. He decides who he accepts. It sounds like they are short handed so if you have a good posting history I bet he'd accept.

And Kaycee and Lauren have mod authority. All TexAg employees do but a lot don't mod a lot (just some and mostly on the football forum because that's where it's needed most). They let the volunteer mods take care of it.

Not a problem. I've been banned enough to figure a lot out haha
The old "head mod" Andrew would ban me for anything. 2 weeks a pop for minor stuff. Since he quit I don't know if I've been banned since. But I don't post as much anymore. I don't even have any stars right now

I actually had stars once upon a time. Enjoyed the articles, but since I'm not as hardcore into recruiting as many, I gave 'em up.
And whoever said there's biases here on this site is correct, of course. There's no perfect message board, just depends on which brand of foolishness you're willing to deal with, IMO.
And I still post on TexAgs, just not as often. Mainly because I enjoy bantering with the other SEC fans so much.

I gave on trying to read Rivalries long ago, but the baseball board is actually pretty good. I agree with what someone posted above tho, after realignment talk the main board (zoo) is just no longer fun to read or discuss stuff.

There definitely is consistency for the most part over here and people know what they are getting themselves into. I feel like at places like TexasAgs or AuburnFamily for us, you can get banned for even the most mundane comments. Over here, just don't tell jokes about hte Saints like the Superdome losing power and you are good

I also saw this week that a poster called Newbomb Turk got a permanent. He was always calling out a dwerp called Techno. I think Techno must be a moderator. He has a ton of stars and if you go against him, you get the bans. The Turk was constantly proving him wrong and was warned constantly. Not sure what he said this week but Newbomb Turk got the permanent.
He should be here soon...if he isn't already.
Moral to this, don't call out pubes, jorts and their cronies (especially Kaycee) are you are gone.

You do realize she HAD to conduct those interviews, correct? If you want to blame anyone, blame the TV network's shitty planning. Just the way that business works.
I'm not a Kaycee fanboy nor hater, nor do I agree with you getting banned for it, but that one was on you, IMO.

most of the staff edits are hilarious, but I agree the rules aren't uniform and the mods shouldn't be anonymous. Most of the time the staff act like they had no idea something was done as far as bannings and edits.

I've been banned a few times on the Politics board, Billy's Board and Football board, but from 2001-2007 I was banned well over 100 times on the Gyneral Board.

I was very unimpressed with his (and the rest of the posters) for coming down on Brent Z like a ton of bricks every time he posts a negative article or something that doesn't paint A&M in the best light. I've got a lot of animosity toward the Corps Commandant's office, the campus police, and the university faculty in general. Nothing bad really happened to me, just everyone around me. The whole "OMG A&M IZ THE BESTEST MOST PERFECT SCHOOL EVERS DONT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT OR THAT COULD EVAR HURT SOMEONE WHO WORKS THERE ZOMG" group think on TexAgs is very off-putting, and guys like Jorts are a big part of that.
It was funny how in the early days after we joined the SEC, every couple days some sychophant would run to the premium board and copy and paste things aggies over here said, looking for some pats on the head about how they rooted out dissention. My screen-name is exactly the same, and got called out twice for posts here that were legit, moderate criticisms of the TexAgs community. They apparently did not expect me to defend myself on TA, because they shut up pretty meekly.

Been banned twice. Once because I was encouraging the poster JerryAg to continue to troll the frick out of all the pussies on the Zoo by saying Sumlin was going to USC even after signing his extension...
And also been banned on the general board because some dude said Tupac was a mediocre rapper and I "went around the filter" by telling everyone to "Vote that S H I T down"
The posters that flood the zoo are all a bunch of titty baby bitches, and the mods are even worse

Wouldn't surprise me if he still has modding powers even though he isn't full time after getting his fat surgery and moving on to a glamorous campus job.
