Not going to win many games when a player shoots 4-18. Impressed that the game was as close as it was considering that stat

Losing the USC game hurt. We need to hope Va Tech has a good year and beat one of Arizona or WVU

We're about where I expected we'd be, maybe a little worse. I had us losing one of the tournament games and had USC as a tossup.

I generally agree with this sentiment but I wouldn't rule out VPI as a quality win.
And one surprising development is how good USCe is. They thumped Michigan and Syracuse - both ranked - this past week and sit at 6-0. The bottom half of the SEC looks gawdawful as usual but adding SC into the UK, UF, A&M mix should help everyone's RPI and give us another shot at a good RPI win.
Unfortunately, we play 4 games against the trio of UK, SC, UF - three on the road. It's going to be a tight rope building up quality wins.
