Oh man, if we start 5-0 again... God save us from the meltdown that will ensue as we collapse

Auburn has never lost at Kyle Field and LSU has never lost to Kevin Sumlin.

Until and unless those stats change, those two go from likely loss to auto-loss.

While true, it is a weak correlation and not predictive. That is like me saying A&M is winless vs Temple so therefore if we schedule them, it is an auto loss.

I don't know why you are so married to such awful logic. Nothing that has happened on the field in previous years has any bearing on what happens this year with this team.

It's almost normal. Slight skew to the left with those 2 1- win predictions. I threw out the 15-0 mark. Too big of an outlier.

7-5

I was thinking 5-7/6-6 in the Spring but it's sounding like UCLA and Arkansas won't even be as good as last year when we played them. I think we start 5-0, lose to Bama/UF then lose to Auburn, LSU and one of the Mississippi schools to close.

I said it on tRant and I'll say it here again, I don't trust SDS for good analysis at all. For one they keep writing that Hubes is the odds on favorite to be the starter this year which is just crazy town to me.

Here is their top SEC QBs since 2000 list

10. Andre Woodson - Kentucky
09. Matt Stafford - Georgia
08. Jalen Hurts - Alabama
07. Eli Manning - Ole MIss
06. Cam Newton - Auburn
05. Johnny Manziel - TAMU
04. Dak Prescott - Miss State
03. Aaron Murray - Georgia
02. AJ McCarron - Alabama
01. Tim Tebow - Florida

missed the cut Chad Kelly, Ole Miss; Nick Fitzgerald, Mississippi State; Jay Cutler, Vanderbilt; Chris Leak, Florida; David Greene, Georgia; Jared Lorenzen, Kentucky; Rex Grossman, Florida

LINK

Does that look like a legit list to any of you or does it look more like they have a tad bit too much Bama and UGA bias?

Can't say I find fault in the prediction, except for maybe Ole Miss.

I think it's silly to predict a loss to Arkansas given that we've won 5 straight against them and 2 of those teams were probably better than this one will be. And predicting a loss at home to USC is just dumb. They might win, but we'll probably be two score favorites. There's zero reason to predict that outcome other than being edgy.

Also, reports out of UCLA camp are not glowing. Rosen is very rusty, their OL is bad and they are breaking in new offensive and defensive schemes.

Like I said, it's a strong possibility we start 5-0 again. The problem is we'll probably finish 3-4 at best, and that's if we beat both Mississippi schools.

I'm really confused by the sudden confidence in this thread. We were 8-4 last year and lost everything except RB, Kirk, and most of our safeties. I don't think we lose to SC but a loss to them is far from a ridiculous prediction.
