Two Florida transfers, linebacker Scooby Williams and defensive back Jaydon Hill, are also expected to visit Texas A&M this week, sources tell @247Sports.

Williams, a former top-50 recruit, posted 52 tackles for the Gators this season. Hill was a two-year starter for Florida.

Denver Harris is expected to visit Texas A&M this week, sources tell @247sports.

The Class of 2022 five-star cornerback began his college career at A&M, then transferred to LSU last year and just re-entered the transfer portal.

Portal Intel: Georgia cornerback transfer and former top-100 prospect from Clear Lake (TX) Julian Humphrey will arrive in College Station for an official visit Friday, he tells @AggiesToday.

Also has a trip planned to Texas. (1st/ @R_Brauninger)

News: Transfer portal DE Nic Scourton will take an official visit Texas A&M tomorrow. (Jan 3)

Nice to have a coach being aggressive in the portal

Denver re-enrolling at A&M - much less becoming a contributor on next year's team - would be an all-time mindfrick. And a true testament to the power of being born with elite athletic capabilities.

Hopefully this was a pre-requisite in the hiring process. And that the school's collectives have seen the value in being major players for top transfers.

Whatever the equivalent of signing of the Stanford baseball transfer needs to happen for football, too. Perhaps the edge guy from Purdue could be a mini-version of that.

I don't know how I feel about recruiting Harris. The kid has character issues that haven't been straightened out. His on-field production isn't good enough to justify putting up with his antics.

Harris needs to spend a year in JUCO or a G5 program so that he can be humbled.

I cant say I'm a fan of bringing him back. I keep seeing people say its "low risk", bring him in on a very short leash and hope he turns it around, so the upside is still there.

You dont knowingly bring a cancer back into your locker room.

And I think people are still getting hung up on that he was a 5 star high school athlete, but not all 5 stars pan out. He didnt exactly tear it up in his half a year with us, and didnt look great in the very limited time he played at LSU. I know we need depth at DB bad, but I'm not sure this is the best way to address it.

Lots of smoke around Julian Humphrey and he's supposedly visiting this weekend. He would be a massive get, bigger than the Purdue kid considering our need at CB. He really liked us out of HS from what I recall.

The Harris thing is pretty low risk high reward but I'd rather he not come back. He kind of represents the Jimbo era more than any other singular player

Maybe Harris got better at running over kids in the parking garage.

Hate to say I’m done with Aggie Football if he comes back - but it would be a push in that direction.

Put me in the camp of not wanting Harris, it is mind boggling they would take him back given the issues we heard about him. Dude needs to go to JUCO to get his crap together.

Have you seen the portal map thread on TexAgs?

I’ve been debating copying it and pasting it over here. It’s not content created by TexAgs, but created by a poster.

Elko tweeted out twice today with his "Gig Em! *thumbs up* *lock* JFF Gif"

I think he's about to make some serious portal waves.
