Elko is starting to remind me more and more of Schloss. Excellent staff, and recruting isn't the best, but it is good enough to challenge.
Let's see how he finishes out this group, but Scourton is a HUGE add at DE. Fills a major need.

Sounds like we got at least one more today as well. I’m guessing the Albany edge guy. Jaydon Hill from UF supposed to be in today and would be a huge guy to land for us

I think we all try to be hopeful. Many of us have been staunch supporters of Aggie Football for decades.
I feel like it’s a kick in the teeth to see each season play out with inexplicable losses, douchebag players, opt outs, transfers and ending up unranked and out of any championship contention again and again.
It’s okay to want to be optimistic and to have awareness of reality at the same time.

We will see how Elko does next year. There are both massive amounts of talent on this team, and massive holes as well. He needs to get some difference makers in the portal to shore up some of those holes, and he needs to do it fast.
Basically have to rebuild the entire secondary and the DL depth through the portal. WR needs some help as well. Let's see how Spring training goes. It isn't fair, but he needs to come out of the gate and take advantage of a relatively weak SEC schedule next year.

OP updated, great to see Elko and staff hitting the ground running in the portal. The glaring need appears to be OL, there are less than a handful of the top 25 OL uncommitted, #2 from LSU is sitting there along with the center from Bama that can't snap in shotgun formation. Keeping Bisontis is huge.
