No idea where all the db's we've brought in are going to play but some competition to get playing time should lead to improved play on the field.

Jacoby Mathews is heading to the portal supposedly. Hope he stays maybe just looking to get paid. Hope so.

That sucks. I know we’ve added some DBs but he’s pretty damn good. He outplayed Gilbert.

He is our 2nd best rated safety according to PFF with Wright being rated slightly higher. Big loss. Hopefully he comes around.

Cornerback Sam McCall to the portal now too. We were his second stop so I guess that shouldn’t be too surprising.
I really believe this portal will end up hurting players more than they realize, for every Jaylen Daniels, there’s 10 guys who transfer and still won’t get much more playing time. I get believing in yourself but at some point you gotta cut your losses.

We added another edge rusher, Josh Celiscar out of UCF.
A team captain the past two seasons, he has recorded 156 tackles, 24.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, five forced fumbles, three passes defended and an interception.

Big get in the portal this morning, Utah offensive lineman Kolinu’u Faaiu transferring in. Started at center last year for Utah. Love seeing the building of the team from the lines out.

Foster should NOT be starting this fall. In 3 years he has yet to attend a spring practice.
