Now that I got off work and I made some calls to the connected people I know I feel a LOT worse about this. Apparently it was NOT boosters that forced Hyman's hand, as those very connected to the university were surprised by this. Boosters DID push him to put out the vote of confidence in Sumlin, which maybe pissed him off I don't know. Honestly given what little I know it looks like Sharp is the puppetmaster behind this action, maybe unilaterally. That part is just my speculation though.

Skip the book and go straight to film, I say. Get Martin Scorsese to direct it. What he did for the mob in "Goodfellas" and "Casino" he can do for A&M football.
