Ain't nobody coming back from a 56-3 thrashing by a division rival in year 4.

Your tone and emojis make me believe you think that is a good thing, why?

I'm more just being a smart arse towards a few here who declared Sumlin was dunzo b/c of 59-0. Bert is fine as long as he hits 8-5 this year.

Bret and Mullen should probably both be gone.

How is he getting to 8? They're an underdog in all 4 remaining games at this point.

Oh ok, I thought you were saying we want them to get rid of Bert. I hope he stays forever with his current record against us.

Key word "if" but I wouldn't be shocked at all if they beat LSU

I know this is a needling thread (and RC it was already anchored so you don't need to create a new one when the next coach gets mauled), but always thought Bert was a strange hire for Arky. It certainly made an impression hiring a guy with his track record of success but it never really made sense.

Bert's MO is out physicalling you. Well, that works at a place where you can recruit at least on par with your competition, but the idea that he was ever going to do that in the SEC West at Arky made zero sense.

He's in year 4 and his team can't run the ball and can't stop the run. And it's not like he's a spread team. His entire team concept is built around those two things.

And FTR, I think the guy is a pretty decent coach. But I don't see how his style will ever translate to the SEC at Arkansas.
