Unless he unlocks a significant amount of power I just disagree I guess. And he would have a lot less leverage at that point coming out. 1B only types like him have to be pretty special to command a big signing bonus

I do see your point, but what round did he go in? You’re telling me he couldn’t get 1-2 rounds better just by coming back and having a good season? That’s how I’m looking at it, that’s all

TA rumor that Braden Montgomery is picking us. He’s the dude from Stanford the wrecked us. 2 way player with big pitching talent but he’s raw.

He's an incredible talent. Top 10 type of guy if he has a good year next year. He was a two way prospect who hasn't really panned out on the mound but is talented there so will be interesting to see if whoever lands him tries to use that. He has crazy power and is a good corner OF (with a big arm obviously)
He's from Mississippi so I expected Ole Miss LSU or Tennessee when he entered the portal. Kind of wild he's transferring from Stanford in the first place

Aggies announce they are playing at Globe Life in 2024. The release is a little bit confusing, but here is the important part:
The big Houston tournament is taking place (not our year to be in it), but it's sponsored by the Astros Foundation. The Shriner's Classic is moving to Globe Life. But we are not participating in it. We are in the Showcase or something else.
