Very pleasantly surprised at our team making it to Omaha after some of the stretches of bad games that we had. I'm not a big baseball fan, it's too slow and boring for my tastes, but I'll be watching our games in the CWS hoping for a win. Baseball does seem like our best chance for getting a natty in one of the big 3 sports.

Well granted that we did catch a great draw in Houston and Davidson did us a huge favor, I'll say that in a historical context, we finally caught a break. I understand that it looks comparable to Baylor reaching the elite 8 in hoops. In both cases neither us nor Baylor is responsible for the failings of higher seeds.

It literally hasn't before in baseball. The closest thin was in 03(04?) when Southern upset Rice, but we still had to beat Rice to win the regional (not even a super).
